I hope things turn around for the holidays...(VENT)
 

Things were going so good. I guess it couldn't last forever.

Late last week my Uncle passed away. The funeral was yesterday & my parents drove us. It was out of town & Mapquest gave my dad the wrong directions & we literally got there at the last minute before it started.

By the time we left to come home my cold turned from annoying to terrible. My dd wanted a ride to school (she walks one mile away) & I was so mad since I feel even worse than last night, but I took her. Princess came with, as always. Well trying to leave the parking lot my car messes up, has little battery power, no power steering, no heat. It's 37 degrees & Princess is trembling even tho I'm trying to hold her wrapped in a fleece jacket, a blanket & she's wearing her double lined coat. I can't get a hold of anyone but finally my lil sis picks us up.

We're home now & I gave her some warmed canned food, she's sleeping next to me now. Glad she's ok, but my stress is through the roof. My next two checks are finely budgeted to take care of Christmas & remaining bills, not fix a car. Oh, and I have to work in the morning at 5a.m. a time when no one is avail for a ride to work.

Sorry for venting/ranting, just feeling pretty screwed! Thanks for listening.

The good news is, the worst is now over! Also, ot could have been worse, far worse. Now smile

I'm so sorry. :( I will pray for things to take a better turn.

Steve said it well...things could always be worse. I know that may seem like little comfort right now, but it does help to count your blessings when you are feeling down.

You remind me of my little sister...she is a single mom to three kids. :eek: And has to work her tail off to make the ends meet. My heart goes out to both of you.

Im sorry it does seem like when it rains it pours. I hope you get better soon and things calm down and get better in your life soon also.
