Chair Lifts for Stairs I need to start shopping around for Chair Lifts for Stairs as my stairs are very steep and it is getting harder and harder getting up and down them....I have started researching them on the web, :scratchhe but would like everyone's input as to any that might be a better brand than others or any info you might have that you can share. |
Sorry I can't offer any advice. Just sympathy. It will be safer than falling down them. Not too long ago there were ads on tv about them. I don't remember the name of the company now. Good luck! Just keep googling for opinions from other people, too. There are always reviews out there. |
You can find them at most medical supply stores..my friend had some they were very nice and safe.. I have another friend that just fell down her steps last week and fractured her ribs.. |
Check out www.bruno.com, they are a national company that specializes in stair lifts and un-occupied scooter / wheelchair lifts. As you shop around definately ask about warranty as someone will obvioulsy be making trips to your home if service is needed. Most companies will warrant labor within a certain mile radius, but will charge (trip charge) if you are outside their area. Good Luck. |
