GAH!!! What to do??? Someone that lives in an apartment somewhere in my vicinity smokes pot. Seems like they do it almost 24/7, anytime I have my patio door open for some fresh air, or to let the kitty go view the world from 7 stories up (always with an eye on him while he is out there) the stink from weed smells up my place. So I'm running off the assumption that the smoker is either right below me, or in one of the other bordering apartments. I'm tired of not being able to get fresh air in my apartment! Even without my heating on it gets pretty toasty in here, especially if I run the oven at all. I was going to go to the management office but I don't know who exactly is doing the deed. All I know is that it is bugging the crud out of me. Weed is still illegal right? That didn't change in the 3 years I was gone right? Well...off to try to kill the smell without the help of fresh air. Seriously though, its not even 5 am and they're smokin'. |
If it were me I would place a call to the authorities. Pot is still illegal, unless your state has made it legal for medical use and then the user has to have a script for it. I wouldn't want my babies to be breathing the smoke from it:eek: :( |
I would just call and they can figure it out. I'm sure they'll want to since it is illegal and they won't want it going on in their building. If it's bothering your nose that much I'm sure the babies are really smelling it. |
Yuck!!!!!!!!!!! Bless your heart! Yes, follow the advice of the others. Call the police. Let them handle the situation. I am surprised someone hasn't called already. Other tenants have to be smelling it to. I wouldn't think that would be good for you and your babies to be smelling. Next time they do it pick up your phone and report them. |
That sucks!! It'd be one thing if it was just once in a while but I agree that would be really annoying if it were all the time. I would def. call and report it to your landlord. |
That is awful! It would drive me crazy too. I would definitely speak with the authorities to see if anything can be done and to your landlord. Would it be possible for your landlord to move you into another apartment away from the one you are in now? Thought that might be an option for you. |
We live in a tailor park and one of the houses 3 down from mine did this I called the police and had them cruse down her a few times a week and he no longer smokes on his porch. It was such a strong smell I could not let Adam my skin baby out to play. |
