What do you do right when you get home from work or for the evening? I pull up, grab the mail, drop everything on the counter and let the dogs out. Then they come in, eat, and go right back out to finish their business. Then I turn on my Scentsy, straighten up the kitchen area and start thinking about dinner. My favorite part of the day is coming home! :-) |
grab the mail, put the dogs out in the yard to do their business and jump in the shower, then the rest of the evening starts..:D hugs, |
Get the mail as I'm coming in and then greet Tibbe on the den couch, where he can get at me! We have this love fest and then Tibbe gets to smell the mail and my hands. He loves to smell my hands when I have been away! Next - he goes out and when he is done, I get my shower and change into something comfortable. |
Let the dogs out, try to clean up their mess that they've left me in their area (the bathroom). Plop down and think there must be more to life than cleaning and studying. |

Well since the CUS pack are with me all day, everyday... We pull up and they get out and go pee and poop before they are let in the house. Once we get inside, I check the buffet table (or whatever that piece of furniture is called) for mail, bc miraculously the mail fairy (MIL) leaves it there LOL. Throw down my bag on the ottoman and feed the dogs. Uni and Smokey get a speed eating contest rematch every meal. Chloe waits patiently for hers and them runs to her crate to eat. Meanwhile, bf is making drinks and by the time I am done, so is he. We are a well oiled machine. :sidesplt: Then I start making dinner. :D Or sometimes MIL already has made food, in that case I am off the hook and then I get back on YT. :D |
I was so glad to see the last three responses. The first three had me worried. I have a mail aversion. I hate sorting the mail. All the junk that comes in the mail to sort through - ugh! |

Change out of my uniform and let my babies greet me. My son tells me about his day and I spend a few minutes talking to my dh before he leaves for work. He works night 3-5 days a week. Dh gets the mail and takes care of dinner. Lucky me!!!! |
First thing I do is come in the door and greet my M pack (Moka and Mylee). Then "they" eat, then "they" go outside to do their business, and then "they" get their 10 minutes of chew time on a bully or a himalayan chew. Oh yes, when I come in the door it is ALL about "them" for the first 5 minutes. I wish everyone was as happy to see me when I come home as they are. :) |
I can hear my two barking when I get out of the car:D I am usually the first one home and by the time I get the door unlocked they are jumping all over me. I fix their supper first and stay in the kitchen with them while they eat. When they get finished eating I go change into comfortable clothes and then I play ball with Bogie and chase Jada with her loofah dog, we play for about an hour and then I fix DH and my dinner. |
