Thanks for the link. What I read of that is just shocking! What a scum Sandusky is to do that to little children! Boy, he's the lowest of the low and so is everyone who failed to land an uppercut on his jaw and call the police!!! |
Omg. Why did no one call the police. Why isn't this guy in jail? Just sickening. |
He also had foster children and adopted children. :( I shudder to think what kind of life they had living with him. |
I think that asst coach that witnessed it and higher up school officials that knew about it and covered it up are the ones that really need to go |

Sorry I didn't post the link- thanks LJ! Just got back from an 11.11.11 wedding. I just heard that the Asst. is now on PAID admin leave at his request. The clock is ticking for him too..... tick, tock. |

talked to my lawyer friend. he says that if you are engaging in an act of self defense for a 3rd party who is incapable of acting in self defense for themselves IE: a child, you would actually be justified in your actions. so therefore someone should have and could have punched Sandusky's lights out that day and they would not have gotten assault charges and would have rescued the boy from that situation. |
i wish i hadn't read that link. i read all 23 pages as well and was just sick. 8 children victimized by this man. he should get the death penalty IMHO. this is one of the sickest and worst things i've ever read or heard about and i honestly think that every man that was ever involved in this and didn't go to the police right away should be locked up as accomplices and all the campus police who didn't do a thing when reported should be locked up as well. There's a special place in Hell for people like this man....prayers for these men and their families for all the trauma and a lifetime of confusion and therapy that i'm sure will be and was needed after all these horrible accounts. |
I heard on CNN that he could get up to 140 years if convicted of all he's charged with and that basically at his age he'll go away for the rest of his life. And that lawyer said this guy's prison stay will be no picnic, that even the ones that are held separately for their safety, eventually if their stay is long, get prison justice. Sounds pretty grim for him. |
How horrible for the child to see someone walk away when he so obviously needed help :( My heart breaks for him. I also wonder why they allowed him to continue to take children on the road with the team knowing he was a pedifile? I've been a domestic violence/sexual assault advocate for 7 years so have responded to many sexual assault exams at the hospital and am still haunted by an exam done to a child. |
One thing that really hasn't been discussed much is the victims parents. I heard one mother called Sandusky, but other than that - nothing. I wonder how many of the parents knew what was going on or if these poor boys were to afraid or embarrassed to say anything. |

Just finished reading the Grand Jury's Report. It is absolutely unbelieveable that such an evil thing would happen here in the States. So many people who were in a position to help those poor little boys KNEW what was going on and turned their heads. As a mother of two sons, I cannot imagine letting one of my young sons spend that much time alone, unsupervised with an adult male. Everyone who had knowledge of what was going on and did not report it to the proper authorities should be charged with accessory. |
