What Would You Do If........... I would like to try an new topic just for the hell of it. As you can see from the title I am asking people to say how they would react to a given situation. I ask those taking part to be totally honest in answering with no BS as that would spoil things. The rules are simple (I hope). 1. Be honest 2. Be open 3. Be realistic 4. Be Funny if you can and you may answer as many times as you wish as long as each answer is different. 5, After answering you may if you wish post your own question which MUST start with.....What would you do if....but only if you have answered the one above you. 6. You may answer any of the posts asking "what would you do if" it is not limited to the last question. Now let me start this off with tongue in cheek........... What would you do if......... Whilst standing in the crowded street you saw a 50$ bill on the floor 12 feet away ?? |
I would walk over and pick it up. What would you do if some one knocked on your door and handed you a Great Dane Puppy ? |
Hand it back and tell them to try next door. WWYDI you had a luscious unopened box of expensive chocolates on the bedroom chaise lounge but really needed to lose 5 lbs. by next weekend to fit into your fabulous new cocktail dress for the big party? |

WWYDI: You are having a conversation with a close talker, and they have something in their teeth. |

WWUDI (This one actually happened it was a real life situation) You are a female walking down the crowded street when you felt your underwear slipping down your legs and you just knew you did not have time to hide in a discreet place to fix the problem ?? (in the above case the lady just stepped out of them, picked them up, put them in her purse and walked away as if nothing had happened) |

WWYDI You were on an elevator with one other person and you had a bad case of gas? |

What would you do if......... Whilst standing in the crowded street you saw a 50$ bill on the floor 12 feet away ??[/QUOTE] I would expect most people to answer like this but I suspect the truth may be a little different. As the street was crowded I think most people would walk over to the $50 bill. Put their foot on it and look around for a time. The when they see nobody saw them do it pick it up and walk away quickly. You never know who or what is watching you these days...lol |
WWUDI You came home unexpectedly and found your 18 year old daughter in bed with your best friend (female). |
WWYDI Whilst walking down the street you had a bad and unexpected sneeze which left a mess on the back of the coat of a person walking in front of you ??? |

In all cases like this to be told you have terminal cancer is a divesting thing and can do all sorts of mental damage not only to the patient but to family as well. The strange part of it is that the patient will eventually accept his/her fate and shrug it off as a fact of life as it is going to happen and nothing can change that fact. Believe me I am talking from a position of strength here I know this is fact. For family and friends it is different but there is still nothing you can do about it. In this position I would do my best to make the patient as happy as I could without overwhelming them. I would try my best to treat them as normal as normal can be in situations like this. Above all, happiness is vital and this should always be top priority. I really do hope non of you are in the position, it is not pleasant at all. |

It is a fact, getting their life sorted could take years and you will eventually want your house or home back to yourself and you will not know how to tell them enough is enough and you want them out. They will tell you they have no place to go and so it will go on and on. What would I do - I would say sorry can't do that even if it is at the expense of our friendship. |

Nobody wanted to answer this one so I answer myself. I would most definitely turn around and walk away I would be far too embarrassed to tell them. May I give a gentle reminder that we do not have to leave a WWYDI when answering another only if you want to it is not mandatory. The idea is to generate fun. |
