GRAPHIC!! Judge beats daughter
 
This is graphic. This girl had cerebral-palsy, her father a "FAMILY COURT" judge beats her with a belt. He was swinging very hard on her. To boot, the mother comes in with a belt too. Seems like them two have had practice on this tactic. I am outraged!!

I watched the video and could not believe the violence. Unless this video is proved to be a fake, and I don't know how it could - I hope this judge and his wife spend the rest of their lives behind bars. According to what I understand, the video is several years old. I wonder how many other beatings this child has endured. Posting the video took a great deal of courage, I wonder if she will have enough courage to speak out. I can't imagine this man presiding over family court and upholding the laws with which he was entrusted. A pot calling the kettle black in it's most evil form.

I have also read on this incident was that the father was mad because she was caught playing games on the computer when she was not suppose to(not stealing the car). The only reason why she posted it was because he has "esculated" over the years. The mother standing there with her own belt made me want to slap the crap out of her and sick my DH on him!

The daughter and mother were on the Today Show today. The mother has left the father and filed for divorce. Apparently, he is being an even nastier guy since the divorce towards daughters (imagine that). So daughter said she released the video to show what they live with. The daughter claimed this happened on a regular basis, so she set up a hidden video camera in her room. He should not be presiding over cases involving children.

I should add I am amazed that this mother just went along w this nut and even joined in.

I could NOT even watch the video, I stopped it as soon as it started however I have seen clips on the news etc.. mom and daughter were on the today show today!! The video is real and beyond disgusting.. I however find the mother just as guilty I dont really care what her circumstances were. If that were my husband I would have called 911 or beaten him with the belt ,certainly not participated in the act.. It is beyond disgusting, he represents our judicial system and at that a Family Court judge... I cant even comprehend what he did to her, his foul mouth, his actions and honestly he seemed very good at what he was doing , likely done this before... !!

Saw this on TV yesterday. Just horrific! That poor child. I hope someone in the D.A.'s office takes the bit in their teeth and charges him with something - assault, whatever they can get him on all these years later.

So the mother is now her daughter's defender? I wonder what type of "be nice" pill she took since the video. Mom seemed like she had quite a bit of practice swinging the belt and cursing at her daughter. I can understand the mother being afraid of her husband during one of his "correction" sessions, but it appeared that she was a willing participant.

The mother was just as much at fault.

Sadly, it happens across this country everyday. And honestly it is completely unacceptable to me for the judges in the US to use any form of physical punishment on their children and then try to dictate how my family should be ran.

That was sickening beyond words! I just cannot imagine treating my children that way. This is a well educated professional, member of the bar and judge! WTH is wrong with him. Disgusting POS needs to be prosecuted and disbarred for his abuse. Not only was he beating a child he was beating his DISABLED child! Just outrageous :mad: I'm not sure of the laws in the state of Texas but I would think the penalties for abusing a disabled person are much now severe and he should be held accountable for his actions. As for his little interview in the news click....he comes of as an arrogant smug @$$hole.

Loving parents do not treat their children that way EVER! My kids have done far worth and I have never raised a hand to them. :(

Judge Wiliam Adams how do you lay down at night and close your eyes to sleep when you behave like such an animal. :mad:

That was upsetting to watch, and made me feel nauseous. It brought back too many bad memories from my childhood where "whoopings" with a belt where a far too common thing. I can tell you from experience, that poor girl had bruises up and down her legs and backside.

That man and woman are SICK and are monsters. I am physically shaking as I am typing this.

I just wanted to add that I think it is an INCREDIBLY brave thing for that girl to video the beating and now to post it. This brings attention to child abuse that is probably much more common than any of us realize.

I can't get this poor girl off of my mind today. She probably felt like there was no where to turn bc her father was a judge in her town. Also, on the Today Show, the daughter expressed concern bc her father is threatening to take custody of her minor sister away from her mother. Really, neither one of those parents are fit to parent a minor child.

I have been thinking about her alot today too.
Not only did the "Judge" sickened me but the mother as well. There was a #1 rule in my house when I was married to my girls father...you do not spank them what-so-ever. If a spanking was needed it was not out of rage , being uncontrolled or from a heavy hitter.
I wonder if anyone walked into his court with a video tape like that what he would have done to them parents...convict them or admired them for what they did.
The way I feel is that the mother was an accomplice and he is a ba#$#rd!

I saw it on TV today and agree that it was just horrifying. She was far too old to 'bend over the bed'. Not that I would condone that at any age but . . . . it just seemed sick like maybe Dad was getting off on the whole thing BESIDES the physical abuse. Then Mom with her 'bend over and take it like a 16 year old'. What a fine Mom moment that was.

Just disgusting.

I venture to say this so-called Judge will be resigning very soon. I hope he doesn't have any dogs or other small children.

He has at least one other daughter, a minor, who lives w mother. She claims he is threatening to get full custody of that minor daughter.
