the post office made these stamps that are supposed to be good "forever". So if you buy a million forever stamps now, and the rate goes up a few cents in the future, you can still use the same stamp. I buy my stamps by the booklet, but you can buy them in rolls of 100. That's just too much money for me at once, and they don't give a discount for buying in bulk. :rolleyes:

I only made so many and not looking like I will be home anytime soon. But have more I want to send. So we shall see. Glad you like the card my first time ever making them. They are not perfect but they work :D:D:D

well... didn't even know I was on the list:eek: But I have received 5 beautiful cards so far.

This means a lot to me, as some of you know I will not be home for Christmas because my dh is having a stem cell transplant (bone marrow) .. it has been moved to Dec. 19 and he will be in a "bubble" so to speak for 2 weeks and then we have to stay at a local lodging for another 2 weeks. So.... I was a little down because I am not even decorating for Christmas..

the cards cheered me up a lot. It is funny how many times my YT friends are there for me in ways local family and friends just don't understand.

Thank you all.. merry merry christmas.. I will get cards out (how about happy Valentines day:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:)

Don't you worry about sending cards. Just know that you and your DH are in our thoughts and prayers, Shinja. What a tough way to spend the holidays, but hope you feel a little better because we are all thinking about you.

Ditto to all of the above:) Shinja I will keep your DH and you in my prayers. My DIL has an aunt who had the stem cell treatment for her lymphoma. She did very well and went into remission and that was 7 years ago:) She is still doing well.

Mine are going to be running late (as usual). I have an idea for my pictures but it'll probably be next weekend before I can get my pictures taken. I hope they turn out OK. :)

I'm so glad the cards are cheering you up a bit Shinja. You threw us for a bit of a loop changing the transplant date. I bet the Marriott will be wondering who all the cute early mailing yorkies are :sidesplt:
