Philadelphia? Hi all- I just found out I have to go to Philly for training for work next week. Thankfully, my sister's 26 year old niece will be staying with my son and furkids, so no one will be missing school or have to leave the house. :) Is anyone from Philly or has anyone been there? Any advice on places to eat, tourist attractions, etc would be greatly appreciated! I love traveling! So excited! Thanks for any suggestions on where to go!!! |
I have been to Philly twice since I moved to PA about 5 years ago. We loved it there! Beautiful place and really nice people. We really enjoyed seeing the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Museum of Art (Rocky moment...LOL). I also love going to eat at The Cheesecake Factory in King of Prussia. We always go there when headed to Philly. It's FABULOUS! It's really close to Philly too. Enjoy your time there! It's wonderful! |
Thank you! I don't have my schedule yet, but my biggest fear is that I'll be stuck in training all day and won't get to see much of the city. A lot of those tourist spots seem to close at 5pm. :( |
maybe you can stay an extra day and enjoy some of the sites..oh me i would probably never get past the cheesecake factory :D |
Betsy Ross House and look up to see the statue of William Penn or course there is Valley Forge but that's not in center city. If you get a chance go to So Phila to Pat's for the best cheese steak EVER! |
and (since it's all about ME) you could always go to Hanahman Hospital to see my birth place;););) |
