Hachiko A Dogs Story Several years ago when we were living in Japan I saw a statue of a dog outside of a train station. I never knew why it was there or paid much attention. The story is in this movie, Hachiko A Dogs Story. A story I think every single person should watch. Dog lovers and those who have ever thought "JUST a dog" alike. If you think you understand the loyalty of a dog or have no clue. Watch this movie and you will never question a dogs loyalty again. It's a true story and I don't think I ever cried so hard at a movie and I know I have a new understanding of my dog. |
I BAWLED my eyes out to this movie. I watched it by myself, at like 1am, and I think Jackson thought I was crazy. I seriously have never cried so hard during a movie! Extremely touching & moving though - a must for dog lovers. |
I love this movie. It's such a great story. :) |
Makes me wish I had visited that statue at the station with more understanding and wish now I could go back and see it again. It may have a plaque that explains it but other than people using it as landmark I never paid it much attention. The station it sits outside of is now HUGE with many different exits out onto the street and it sits outside the Hachiko exit and people will tell you the exit with the dog to give directions. :) |
I loved that movie! I knew somewhat the story before I watched the movie so I started crying at the beginning of it and continued til the end. |
That is one of the movies that left me sobbing. I watched it one night when my dh had gone to bed early and sat out in the family room with Bubba and Sissy-just hugging them and crying my eyes out. I don't think I could watch it again. It was just so sad. |
