Steve Jobs Is Dead Cannot believe Steve Jobs is dead at only 56. RIP Steve Jobs. |
Bummed. What a visionary. He turned his dreams into reality and shared them with the world. |
I just heard on the news, RIP, Mr. Jobs... |
When I told my 17 year old son he had died he didn't believe me until he saw it on the internet. He is excited about the new Apple iphoneS, he showed it to me and it is amazing. It is unbelievable what Steve Jobs created. Prayers for his family. |
He had a genius only few ever know. This world will miss him sorely. |
OMG!!!!!! I didn't even know he was sick! How devastating. He is part of the reason that I can use a computer without it driving me totally batty in the process. RIP :( |
Can't believe the news. DH is a huge Apple person. |
I noticed Steve Jobs wasn't the one to hold the launch conference for the new iPhone, but just thought it was because he had stepped down as CEO of Apple back a couple of months ago. Although, I knew he had been very sick, I never dreamed not being at the launch could possibly be because his death was imminent. Rest in peace Mr. Jobs |
An amazing life, tragically cut short. |
I saw this a while ago too. So sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He was a remarkable man! |
I heard this a bit earlier today on the radio. While I'm not surprised, it is sad to actually hear he is gone. The last few photos of him, he was SO painfully thin. They said he lived much longer than the doctors all thought though. They also played some of his speech that he gave at Standford a while back: “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” |

We have lost a great man far too soon. RIP Steve Jobs. |
RIP Steve Jobs! Although I'm not an Apple person, I still think he's a great role model by changing the world with his visions and pursuing them! Prayers and condolence to his family and friends! |
This is really sad. I've had mac's for years and love apple products. I can't believe he passed away. Rip Steve. |
Very smart man but he did look sick in the last pictures taken of him. |
RIP Steve! My family is a HUGE Apple family! Going back to the very first Macintosh from the 80s that is still sitting in my Dad's office! There hasn't been an Apple product since that someone in my family doesn't own! My brothers run out and get in line for the release of everything new! A life cut short too soon, so sad! |
:rip: Steve. I am a recent (but total )Apple convert. I had only had my Iphone for a few months when I bought my Macbook Pro and then my Ipod Touch. Changed my life ;) |
I was shocked to hear the breaking news this morning too! I know the poor guy just retired like a few weeks ago. I cannot believe he is already dead! :( RIP Steve! |
Steve has had pancreatic cancer for a while, so this is not a real surprise to the Apple community... but is definitely a tragedy. He stepped down from being the Apple CEO in August because he had gotten so sick, so I think he knew it was coming :( "You have to trust in something- your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life." Steve Jobs 1955-2011 |
There is a book called HOT SHOTs by suzanne elizabeth phillips that is a fictional story based on Steve and Steve from Apple. Its one of the best fictional books Ive ever read! |

It takes courage to live your own life or even pursue your dreams--Steve Jobs had the courage to do so and we all are better off because he didn't let anyone stop him. He accomplished in his short life a lot more than many and I am thankful for his legacy and the inspiration that will hopefully arise in all of us. |
He had a genius for knowing what people would want. I'm very sad he is gone and I have wondered what he could have done over the next 30 or so years. That is something the world will never know.:( |
