School exams
 
I had my first exam of the semester today. I passed. :) I shared my joy on FB, but no-one cares. lol. I had to tell someone, everybody. Hey, I passed my first exam. :D

Congrats!

I'm pretty sure I passed my genetics exam. Blah, what a class that is. Passed my chem exam too, but I'm not talking about how little I almost missed it by.:rolleyes:

Just took my intermediate accounting exam on Tuesday and I was so sick. I think I did okay, probably not perfect or anything but as long as I get a B or above, I'll be ok. I have to get a B- or higher in my class or it doesn't count towards my degree...blahhh

Congrats Roxy! I know how stressful school can be. Well, it's been a while since I've been there :D......but my girls are in college now. My youngest daughter is in an early admittance program for nursing. One of the requirements is that she has to keep her GPA up. Last semester she came home bawling because she just knew she blew it on her Chemistry final, and just knew it was over for her. 2 days later she found out she got an A on that test, and an A in the class. Geesh, girls! It was just a release of all that stress. I feel for you guys in college. You're under a lot of pressure.

It has been many years for me too, but I still have nightmares that I am taking an exam that I have not studied for, or I have a paper due that I have not written. I saw a dream expert on CNN once who said that dreams like these are very common because school is one of the most traumatic or stressful experiences in life. :p

Thanks everyone! :) I have my first anatomy exam on Monday. I got studying to do this weekend. Go fellow students. We can do it. :)

My first anatomy exam is on Wednesday. EEEEEEK. All I do anymore is memorize how bodies fit together. Oh and we reached the joyous origin/insertion/action/innervation muscle section. What fun.

Congratulations to you. It is worth all the hard work. I was talking to my daughter tonight, she is a Phd student at LSU. She was studying for a test and writing a paper.

What fun indeed. If I'm not running stuff for my nursing foundations class in my head, its anatomy. I lay in bed at night going through lists of things. Femur, bicep brachaii and what not. lol. I'm lucky to remember anything never mind how to spell everything correctly, but so interesting to learn about and so worth it in the end.

I'm in school to become a PN. For now, then perhaps RN, PN's can do so much more now in Canada then years ago. Not sure how it is in the States. I believe there's like a 70% overlap of what they and what RN's do. Its an exciting time to become a nurse.

Ohh honey then really congrats!!! I graduated RN school in May it about made me have a nervous breakdown!!!! So good luck and keep your head up!!! If you ever need anyone to talk to pm me I know what you are going through. It is soo hard but take it one test at a time and you will do fine :D

Congrats to the test passers.... I read the one about the Accounting exam and shivered (I'm a fifth year Commerce student, so I remember those days).

I must jump in on the brags... or at least the sighs of relief.

I just wrote the LSAT on Saturday, I hope I kicked that exam's butt :D Will know my score in 3 weeks. I really am hoping it's good enough to get into the schools I want.

Good luck to all those with upcoming exams too. This time of year sucks. I only have 3 classes before I graduate, but remember oh to well the days of 6 classes with exams all in one week :eek:
