If it weren't for bad luck... 2 Attachment(s) Today I was grooming the kids after their shower & heard an awful sound...one of the huge limbs on the oak tree out back broke! It didn't come all the way off the tree & the limb is HUGE (about 12 inches across) There was no wind & no apparent reason for it to break other than it's OLD. Sure glad we were all inside when it happened but kinda annoyed because now I hafta walk them every single time they gotta take a pee. Landlady says it may be monday before she gets someone out here to get it gone. |
Scary:eek: SO glad that you and the kids were not out there!!! Hope it's all gone very very soon so you can go back to your regular routine;) |
OMG Sherry!! I am so glad you were all in the house. It could have been tragic if you and Bella and Tuffy had been out there. |
Wow, that's a big tree limb! I bet you will be glad when that is cleaned up as a slight breeze could bring it on down. Glad everyone is ok. |
It really was the craziest thing; usually we're out early in the morning just enjoying the back yard. Today I decided the kids needed their baths since I missed bathday yesterday otherwise who knows? Glad I made the decision to be a good mommy this morning  |
Scary. Glad you were all safe. |
Thanks everyone :) |
So glad you and your little one's weren't out there when that happened. It may have been damaged from a previous storm. |
Woo-wee, now that's a big limb. Glad you are all safe & sound. :) |
I was afraid that it was going to be a story of the limb crashing a window or roof. I am just happy you guys are ok |
The limb is still here; they haven't even bothered to come look to see if there's damage to the roof. I know if it were my place it'd be gone already. |
Oh my! So glad you guys weren't outside and are safe! |
So glad that everyone is ok! Looks like firewood to me. |
