Unbelieveable Six Flags loses dog rescued from locked car in scorching parking lot - National Animal Action | Examiner.com Women leaves dog in car at 6 flags. Security removes dog from car to save it. Once feeling better do escapes. Now the owner is mad. This women is nuts. I hope the dog found a better, more loving home. I will admit I have left my dogs in the car, occasionally, for 5-15 min. max but never to go to an amusement park.:thumbdown |
That is unbelievable. I am glad the dog was rescued from the car, and hope it is okay now. What happens to it if it's found? Would they have to place it back with her?:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown |
If in fact this dog is classified as service dog, I would think that she needed to have the dog with her, not left in a car while she was able to be around crowds having fun. :thumbdown:thumbdown She should have taken the dog home and gotten a leash or another carrier, not endanger it by leaving it in a car while she played. Or better yet, leave the dog home in air conditioning as she clearly did not need the dog as a service animal. |
Yeah...the dog said "i'm outta hea!!!" |
As many dogs and children that have died in cars being left by some thoughtless wonder, its hard to believe that people are that stupid. Mean, yes, but stupid not to know they would die in the heat? I'm sorry, I just don't buy their excuses. Its hard to believe people could be that heartless, but they are. |
wow.. how stupid can you get? I hope she is charged for leaving the little guy in her car. I also hope he is found soon and is NOT given back to her:mad::mad::mad::mad: |

Has their been a description of the dog? I hope one day we will have pet parenting classes all over the US, and more stringent laws protecting the pets. |
Sorry........should be "there" not "their" |

Reminded me of a recent story of a person who brought their Yorkie to the vet and then went out to lunch and left the dog to die in the car. |
Maybe we should give this woman a call and ask our questions directly to her. Her phone number is given at the end of the article.......... |
WOW! :thumbdown Seriously?!?! What a moron. The only time I'll "leave" Jackson in the car is if it's not too hot outside and I'll be gone for less than 2 minutes, like going into a gas station where I can still physically see him, etc. I would panic so much if I had to leave him in a car for over 5 minutes... I can't even IMAGINE going into an AMUSEMENT park and leaving him?! Wtf is wrong with people?! |
I once went to visit my grandfather in the hospital, it was Aug and very hot! The car beside me had a toddler and a baby in a car seat drinking a bottle....I spent 2 hours with him and came back out and those children were still in that car!! I looked inside and a man was in there passed out....and you could see the milk was clabbered in the baby's bottle. I got security and they took care of it. It was on the news that the mother was there having ANOTHER baby.....and the family was living in that car. If that's all i could do and had no better, I'd at least find a shade tree and get out of that car. Ppl just don't think!! |
That's awful! |
