Okay, any ideas on how to make extra money? Hello!! I am needing help with ideas on how to get extra $$......, I am wanting to purchase a puppy within a couple of weeks and want to help out my poor hubby on the cost..... does anyone have any ideas on how I can make extra $$$???? P.S.... I know that I already have Gizmo, but it would really make him happy to have someone to play with and not be all alone.... thanks for everyone's help!! |
When I get in a money pinch, I sell on eBay. |
how much have you made? what do you sell, how long does it take? I am trying to come up with $$ without having to touch my daily expenses... |

Normally I go through kids closets. When I have a lot to sell, I've made $300 in a week. Not bad and better than a garage sale. If I have some nick-nacks that I no longer want, I sell those. Start your price off cheap...like $1 and watch it go from there. Also, set up a paypal account to make it easier for the buyers. Take NO personal check. |
Really ? Kimberly - tell me more too please - I've sold ONE thing on Ebay but it was a corvette part and went quick. I have some clothes and stuff - plus really nice leather - Designer Lillian Reubin (I think) and it's just GORGEOUS - Electric Blue Skirt w/a cool jacket - I wonder if I can sell that ? I need money badly too - |

lol..I probably spoke too soon - I used to be too skinny to wear it and since the big TWENTY pounds entered my life - I bet it fits me now :( ....How do you work Shipping into this and still make money ? are you selling clothes on EBAY ? |
Shipping/handling is paid for by the buyer. eBay charges less than $1 probably closer to 50-60 cents to sell...that includes pictures. Your first picture is free and anything after that is 15 cents. When a person pays with PayPal, they charge a small amount, too. Then you can transfer the money to a bank account at no charge. I've found that kids clothes sell better than grown up clothes but leather will probably sell. |
Thank you - That's what I needed to hear - Since I don't have any kids clothes maybe it really wouldn't be worth it ? Alot of my clothes USED to be the size of kids clothes -will that work ? :D :D :D |
haa, you guys are so funny!!! WEll I started off with books, but I don't think that will work..... I am going to have to go looking around the house.... |
Ya, I've sold baby clothes, formula, even formula coupons. You could sell dog clothes that don't fit your furbabies anymore. I've sold a couple of those. My problem though was spending the $ that I made right back on ebay! :p |
My husband will be laid off from his job soon so he has been going through our house selling stuff on ebay. He sold his guitar, flute, some curtains, cookie jars, tea pots, a butter dish, books, playstation games, car seat covers, old picture frames etc etc. It always suprises me what people will buy. And it seems that the things I think will not sell, end up going for the most money. It's funny. The fees can add up to quite a bit so you do have to watch that. House stuff and collectibles sell very well. |
I would sell some things around the house on Ebay! ;) |
