:D I actually really really liked Dark Knight. That was not only good for a comic book movie, it was good for a movie period.

I LOVE Zoolander!

I can't choose just one Johnny movie, but I love Ed Wood. Also Edward Scissorhands. I always cry at the end. Of course I could watch Pirates part 1 and 2 forever. I know all the lines.

One of my favorites is Tropic Thunder. "I'm the dude, that's playing the dude, disguised as another dude!" LOL "I'm a lead farmer m-f!" :sidesplt:

Walk Hard is another one of my favorites. It's really very funny.

I could not get into Napolean at all. I don't think I laughed once. Maybe it was over my head? Actually, I did laugh at "Make yourself a dang quesadilla!"

I loved Zoolander too. Great "bad" movie.

I didn't particularly love "Meet The Parents" when I first saw it, but now if it's on tv, I'll usually plop down and watch it.

I never liked Napoleon either. I mean, I admit, the 2nd time I watched it, I saw more humor in it. But I'd never purposely sit and watch it lol.

How could I forget Johnny?! What's Eating Gilbert Grape is another one, Pirates, Secret Window, I've watched those ones many times!

So many good ones listed in here that I forgot. Oh and I love Big Daddy, I've seen that sooo many times w/ Adam Sandler.

I love Kill Bill I & II, Inglourious Basterds, Blades of Glory, Anchorman, Dinner for Schmucks & The Other Guys. Also love Disney & Pixar- my faves are Beauty & B, Aladdin, Lion King, Finding Nemo (we saw it 3 X's in the theater, lol), Monster's Inc. & Lilo & Stitch.

I really dislike sappy or "cheezy" movies & most chick flicks-my dd loves all of them, lol, go figure! Sometimes I enjoy doing my own cheezy voice-overs to make it tolerable:DLoL.

The sad movie I do love & watch a ton is "The Perfect Storm". Otherwise I like action, non-fiction, suspense & comedy...and I can't stand 99.7% of what's on cable:rolleyes:...unless it's the Tudors.:luvu:

Shoot, I'm late to this thread. I agree with you guys on many of them. Here are some I'll switch immediately if I see them on.

Gump, back to the futures, Wizard of Oz.

Anything with John Candy. Anything with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

Pretty Woman, Pet Detective, Harry Potters, Meet the Parents and sequel, Dirty Dancing, Godfathers...

Better add some sports movies so I'm not totally outing myself as overly sensitive: The Natural, The Longest Yard.

Some old man favorites: White Christmas, and anything with Bob Hope.

The horror spoof Evil Dead 2.

And one I'll never turn off, The Sound of Music.

I watch the Disney animated classics over and over, too! Love that excellent quality of the old animation vs. mostly what we see today, such as on the Cartoon Channel and even the Disney channel. Some of those herky-jerky animated characters are just ugly to look at whereas the old Disney classics were so pretty to watch. Still, some of the movie-quality animation such as in Rango looks very good - it's just not pretty like the old Disney things.

I watched Persuasion last night (based on the Jane Austen novel) and really liked it.. Not sure how many times I could watch it in a short period of time. I had just finished the book so that might have been why I liked it a lot.

You would think that (with the exception two or three on my list) I'd be much older than 19.

we watch A Christmas Story every single Christmas Eve that i can remember and i will continue to do so all my life. I'm adding Claymation Christmas to that list as well for my son. We usually watch Garfield's thanksgiving too and peanuts anything when they are holiday specials.

Other than holidays which i'm a Fall harvest and Christmas NUT...i like to watch over and over

How could I forget Prancer?????? I love that movie for some reason. I bought the DVD and have watched it over and over at Christmas time - and every time it is shown on TV. Adding Prancer to my list.

I'm going to have dd come hang with you.;) I set a rule of no Xmas movies out of season. Now she yells at me if I want to watch a movie that has snow regardless of the storyline.:rolleyes: Or even Willy Wonka-LOVE that movie!

I have not seem SPR, but the one movie I could only watch once was Platoon. But it made Tropic Thunder just that much funnier.
