It is gross and sad, but I try not to live in fear over these kinds of things. There is always something: H1N1, Avian flu, west nile, etc. Or less serious - the cockroach egg that can get embedded in a tongue when licking an envelope, the poisonous spiders that can come up through toilets and, um, bite you, etc. I'm trying not to think about this one. I get water in my nose during showers. I occasionally swim in lakes. My dogs are allowed to play in the lake. I mean realistically for us, this is Michigan and all things lake are a way of life here. Gotta love that we flush our potty waste into our water supply and swim in it too. Sigh. |

Just found out West Nile has hit my county. Now this freaks me out. I get bit up so easily (13 bites on one part of my arm in like a day...). Isn't this peachy. |
Oh holy crap! When I get bit by mosquitoes I swell up big time! One tiny bite swells up and it's irregular shaped, not circle, and gets about the size of one of those smashed souvenir pennies you get at Disneyland. |
