I hate the new Yahoo! mail I was on Yahoo mail classic for as long as internet has been in existence. They made me change to the new mail and it's like gmail, only darker and uglier. Usually I don't mind dark and ugly, but this stinks. I don't like having min. 50 emails to a page, rather than the old 25/page. So if I accidentally trash your email I am sorry, it's Yahoo's fault. |
I got a popup from them & thought they were going to upgrade mine the other day but it didn't happen, is it "mandatory"? I've been busy being annoyed by the messaging on facebook.:rolleyes: I don't know why they can't leave well enough alone.:confused: |
Well, as of now it's not mandatory, but every time you sign in there is a "subtle" greeting telling you to upgrade. I got tired of skipping it. They've been asking me to upgrade for months. I finally did it, and I hate it. It'll be mandatory by the end of the month. I hate it. :mad: :mad: :mad: |
I don't know if it is mandatory or not but in all previous releases if you did not like it, you could switch back. They are no longer offering that option because they claim to have spent a lot of time and money on the new version and want folks to use it. I hate it :( |
I know they said it was going to be "better" than the old, but I kinda wonder if they're trying to displease everyone with it so they'll pay for the premium service. They just might be that clever.:rolleyes: |
I hate it too! Putting it off as long as I can. They automatically changed me awhile back and I went back to the old email. This old dog doesn't like new tricks. :thumbdown |
It's not just Yahoo. I've had the same Hotmail account since I was in high school. I loved it back then! I still loved it up to over a week ago. Did you know there is no longer a "contact" option when you need help? The "Help" option leads you to a list of general questions, and then if that's not enough to a forum. You wait around hoping another user knows the answer, and if no one does, you continue to wait. You wait and wait until a "Mod" addresses your concern and gives you a link to directly email the help center. Even then, they did not help me. I got mad and sent 2 belittling responses. Then, just to prove to them I'm not an idiot, I tried their basic general response which I knew wouldn't work. Guess what?! IT DIDN'T WORK!!! :mad: Now I'm emailing them again pleading them to fix the problem with my email account. It's hard enough to be in a long distance relationship. When our main source of quick communication is gone, I get really sad and mad at the same time. Sorry, I just needed to vent. I HATE Hotmail. |

I got used to gmail, but this is worse, and I hate the color scheme. it's hard for me to quick glance. I've overlooked a bunch of emails already! :mad: I had some tacos for lunch, but I'd like some more. |
