Install JAVA or not??
 
So, I'm trying to figure out why I my system won't let me into the chat room before the raffle tomorrow. When I try it always shuts down my Internet Explorer.
Any ideas on what I can do to fix it? Would installing JAVA from their website help? I'm so not good with this tech stuff.

I use google chrome or firefox, not sure if that makes a difference. You do have to have Java to get into chat though. Hopefully someone who isn't tech challenged like me will come along and advise you. You have to be in chat for the raffle..it is just too much fun:D

Installing it is required to get into YT chat.

Once it is on your machine, make sure you have it set to check for updates and be sure to follow through on the updates. It is a security risk otherwise.

Thanks so much....I went there previously to install and got a message that said it installing this program could harm my computer, so wanted to come here and ask first. Thanks again!

I did this the other night, I just ignored it because I am technology challenged. I will have to get my son to check it for me before the raffle. He is a technology genius and I have to bribe him when I get desperate for help. I had chrome but for some reason I could not view my images and some of the others on YT. This just happened last week. So I had to go back to Internet Explorer.

I haven't yet. I could go there and do it now. I will close out a little bit and run the install, be back soon.

LOL...I ran JAVA and it said installed successful. When I try to enter chat looks like JAVA is going to work, but then it says start up error and all this other stuff.
