Interview Question I had an interview at a new hospital yesterday, my first interview since 1994. I wanted to send a thank you note to the nurse recruiter but I have a question. Is it appropriate to send the thank you via email vs snail mail? I know they are going to be making their decision the first part of next week, and with the state of the snail mail around here, I'm afraid my note wouldn't get there in time. Is email to impersonal? All opinions welcome. I promise I won't call anyone mean or rude for telling me what they think :D |
It's a good question. I would be afraid that the snail mail may not make it in time. And even if it does who's to say it won't be sitting on someone's desk unopened? I think a professional email might be a good idea. Also, be careful where the email is coming from. You don't want to send an email from an email address like this: sexymamalovesyorkies@hotmail.com Just sayin'. Good luck. |

I would do both. |
I agree with Cathy.. both. I know I have not had an interview in sooooo many years!! But I have helped my daughters and younger friends.. email is used and is an important tool. My girls even have used text messaging to communicate with recruiters. They have good jobs now so IDK... I guess they did something right! good luck you sexy yorkie mommy you:D |

Thanks everyone. I did send an email and I'll follow it up with a written note, just in case. |
