My own "paw" salon...a dream come true!!!!!!!!!
 
I am so excited...my husband and I are in full swing looking for a place to open our own doggie spa, boarding, and day care. It will be called "The Paw Pad". The grooming portion will be called "Doggie Do's and Cat's too". we have come up with a financial plan and are so excited about it. It will be cage free grooming, and the day care and boarding will have web cams. All grooming clients will get free day care. Boarding clients will also get free day care. Boarding clients also get a free bath with 3 days of boarding. I would love to offer dog training seminars as well. I have SO many ideas and it is going to be one of the cutest places around! I will also have a boutique. I only want to do boutique business with people that I know hand make their items. So if any of my YT friends want to talk about consigning their stuff in my boutique, please let me know. Our goal is to be open for business before the Thanksgiving holiday!!!! I am so excited guys....this is a DREAM COME TRUE!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to you, it's an amazing feeling when your dream come true.
Thanks to YT (and my mentor) and alot of hard work i have had one of my dreams come true also.

A local place sort of like what you are talking about has a web cam for their day care and you can watch it on your computer of smartphone to see how your dog is doing -- people love it I understand!

What a fabulous groom Mandee did on our Jax yesterday! We had actually met Mandee at a downtown street festival previously. Can two yorkie lovers pass on the street without speaking? OF COURSE NOT! Anyway, she had given us her card and then we saw a reference to www.pawpassions.com on Yorkie talk and we called and set up a time.

She did Jax in her home. At the appointed time. Was finished in an hour. (I'm sure because our pup is so well behaved :D) Charged a very reasonable price. Did a complete groom with [COLOR=green !important][COLOR=green !important]bath[/COLOR][/COLOR] and total body clip. Jax's face looks wonderful. I'll post a pic when my daughter shows me how.

This is in stark contrast to the last full groom he got where I dropped him off at 8.00 a.m. and got him back at 5.00. Did get an excellent groom there but he was crated all day! I am not anti-crate, we use(d) confinement for [COLOR=green !important][COLOR=green !important]house [COLOR=green !important]training[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR] and he loves his crate, just not all day in a stack of crates against the wall. Prior to that he had 3 puppy grooms at [COLOR=green !important][COLOR=green !important]Petsmart[/COLOR][/COLOR]. That was a hit or miss because we always got someone different.

So glad we found Mandee!!! Highly recommend!!!:thumbup:

Wow, I just saw this! thank you SO much for the kind words!!!!!! Jax was such a doll baby and I can't wait to see him again! When we finally get our place open, you will have to bring him in to play :) (well, for grooming of course too :D )

I am so glad that I gave you my card!!! I only had a few with me that day, it was meant to be that you got one of them :)
