Oh my Lord! I was coming out of CVS this morning and I looked on the ground and saw a little baby bird! I went to grab my cup of water out of my car so I can put him in there. I took him to the Bird hospital!! They said he was 3 weeks old and he has a CHANCE!! :thumbup: I was so excited to hear that!!

Isn't this so ironic?? A couple weeks ago I ran a bird over on accident of course, and today I saved one!!!

You are a good samaritin!! Were you near a bird hospital of some kind? What a lucky little bird. Did they say what kind it is?

Good for you!!! Most people would not have taken the time to do what you did. God is smiling on you today. You saved one of his animals. :)

Enchilila- I was so happy when they told me he had a chance! That made my day! Poor lil guy!! They said he was a sparrow, something with T , I don’t really remember the name. The Bird Hospital is like 10 mins away from my work so I was lucky to have it to close!!

Mom of 3 dogs- No, I wanted to, but I have no idea on how to baby a bird!! I know you have to feed them like every 2 hours, So I am happy to know that the hospital I took him to specialize in birds!! I think he will be taken care of very well there, and have a chance. I would hate to try to help him and have him die on me. At least I know they have everything he needs to make it!

BabyGirl Rosie- Aw thank you! I couldn’t leave that lil guy just sitting there, not able to move away from danger, his wings are not even open ( not sure the terms you use) so he can’t even fly!! It was a blessing that I saw him, he is so tiny someone could have stepped on him! Plus this world is full of jerks, I would hate for him to get into the wrong hands! So glad I saw him and was able to save him! Makes me feel better knowing I killed a bird a little while ago, and today I saved one.

As bad as I hate to say this, I think some people kill them on purpose. My husband and I was just talking about this the other night. Or like you said, in the wrong hands who knows what. Glad you got to him (or her) first!

I know! I wouldn't put it pass anyone to grab that bird and feed it to a pet snake or something!
