Does PETCO sell puppies? Due to a tooth that broke more than in half friday afternoon and exposed the pulp/root, and the entire right side of my face being swollen & me looking something like the elephant man...I'm not setting foot outside my house until I leave for my dental appt monday at lunchtime! Anyway...bored as can be & pumped up on penicillin & vicodin, I've watched old movies and read all the latest online news. I came across an article about Kim Kardashian getting a puppy at PETCO. I was suprised because I didn't think PETCO sold dogs. I don't want to support a store that supports puppymills. Does anyone know anything about PETCO selling puppies? Too tired to open the link. lol But are you sure it wasn't one being sold at their store by a rescue? I know we have cats at the Petcos in Michigan, but they are up for adoption and aren't bred for Petco. |
From the article is seems like she purchased it at Petco but the dog looks more like an older rescue rather than than a puppy from a pet store. Lets hope. |

The Petco in my neighborhood has adoption days. I can't remember with which shelter. But so do many dog stores in my area. |
That's not a puppy. I am going to venture that it's a rescue. He's very cute! |
PetCo only does sponsored adoptions. |

I'm sure she adopted it. I just saw an episode yesterday of Keeping Up With The Kardashians where she found a chihuahua and took it in, etc. At the end, she made a note to say rescue or adopt at your local shelter. He's a cutie though! |
