My grandchildrens father died yesterday My daughter has 3 children with a man that she never married. They bought a house and did the whole thing but it all fell apart about 5 years ago. He was not the greatest man but loved the children and was very invloved in their day to day activities. Well, he was found dead by his mother yesterday morning. I believe from what has been said it will be due to drugs. He was 31. It is so sad for the kids. I am starting a new job tomorrow after 11 months of being out of work and my husbands hours just got cut. I am unable to be the support person for them or be there this week due to this new job. Its is tearing me apart.I keep praying, praying. Who else has gone thru this? the children are 7,9, 10. |
I have not gone through anything like that but I did want to add you to my prayers and I want you to know that God will get you through this. He always provides, don't ever lose hope!! God Bless you and your family! |

So sorry to hear this. My best friend's children lost their daddy about 4 years ago (best friend and he were divorced). He was only 32. He was overweight, drank a lot, and his father died of heart attack. They say it was his heart too. So sad for the kids. They were 7 and 11 at the time. He lived right across the road from me, and seeing his house was a daily reminder. I will keep your daughter and grandchildren in my prayers. |

I went through something similar when I was young. My mother died from cancer and my father died 4 months later. I was 5 and brothers 7 and 8. Our Aunt and Uncle adopted all 3 of us, there were no grandparents. We were raised in a very loving Christian home. Even though it was a terrible loss for us being young made it somewhat easier. Your grandchildren are still Blessed to have their mother and grandparents. My prayers are with them and the family for their loss. |
We all made it through the week but this all seems unreal. I had my oldest grandson this weekend. He talked about his dad alittle. My heart just breaks for them. I can't fix this. I have strong faith and have been praying. Its all I can do beside support. |
