HELP!! Are there Animal Cops in Ohio? This is such a sad story. My aunt, uncle and cousins live on a farm with 3 houses on it. One is theirs and the other two belong to my uncle's brother and another family member. My uncle's brother has 3 dogs. He was driving down the hill to leave the farm and he hit one of his dogs Penny. Well, I haven't seen her yet, but my cousin told me that Penny is really busted up. She's all messed up and she really needs to go to the vet but her owner's won't take her!!! Are there any animal cops in NE Ohio that we could call to have them come take her? She really needs to be taken care of and her owners aren't letting her be taken to the vet!!! :eek: :confused: :eek: :confused: :eek: |
Oh man...that is awful Sweetie you can call your local POLICE and they will direct you to the right place OR if they are really needing something to do ....maybe THEY will go see if they can help this dog - the cops are animal lovers too - GOOD LUCK !! That poor little girl - someone needs to help this dog right away !! |
Yes We are in Ohio and the local police will give you the number they will also fine the people for that dog being hurt and not taking it to a vet. I have called them a few times my self. |

One of our neighbors had kittens out side and one kitten got up under their hood and when they started their car it got tore up it had split its face really bad right down the nose all the way to the bone and all the way thru its mouth. plus it tore the hair and skin off of it all the way down one side. I heard about it and went down to take it some meds . when I saw it I cryed and told them no meds could help it to take it to the vet. well they didnt and when I went back to check on it I found out that they never took it to the vet. If I knew that They was not going to take this baby in , I would of. It lived and it healed but it has never grown what should be a 1/2 grown cat now still looks like a 6 week old kitten. But it did heal up but im sure that cat should and maybe still does need surgery.and Im sure that cat went thru a lot of pain. and From now on If I ever see a hurt pet I will make sure that they take it or I will call the police and Game warden on them. I can not stand to see any animal suffer.and I feel so bad that I took their word that they was going to take it to the vet. |
Midge5353 .....Did this poor dog ever get help ? I hope you found someone that would come take care of her - NO dog should have to suffer like that when there are people perfectly capable to help her and that makes me so mad that someone could hit her with THEIR car and just ignore her pain |

I have to talk to my mom about it. She's probably going to call one of the places you posted above and have them come out and take Penny. |
