My Son is Graduating from College! Today!!
 
I was just sitting at his pre-school graduation. :eek: What the heck happened??? I am a nervous wreck and soooooo proud of him. How could he be gradutaing from college?? His graduation is a 3:00, I will post pictures when we get home. I just picked up my dd from high school and now I have to get my son from middle school. They all have to be there to support him. My 20 hr old dd goes to the same college so she is home already. He is the oldest so it is a new experience for us. I have alot of tissues in my pocketbook. My hubby has a good telephoto lens on the camera so hopefully i will get good pictures. It is inside (thank Goodness) because it is hot outside here. It is at the Nassau Colliseum so it should be cool in there.

Congratulations, it's an amazing feeling seeing your babies achieve their goals. Good luck to him I hope he continues with a bright future. Hang in their Mom, he's not don with you yet. There is still a lot of Mothering to do, even if he won't admit it.

Ok we are back. Boy was it loooong!!! 3hrs looong!!! I cried the whole time. I don't know if I've ever been prouder of him. I just wish my parents were here to see him graduate. Boy you think I am proud...they would have been bursting with pride. I know they were there today front and center watching their 1st grandchild graduating from college. Looking down on him from heaven beaming from ear to ear. :D
Here are some pictures of us: Me and my son, just my son, children in order youngest to oldest, then me and dh. Next year my youngest daughter will graduate from high school, then the year after that my older daughter will graduate from college.

Congratulations to your son!! Graduating college is huge :) I recently graduated as well. You must be so proud! What did he get his degree in?? Hopefully he will find a job quicker than I have :p

His degree is in education, preschool to 6th grade. Unfortunatly he doesn't have a job lined up because ther are so many layoffs going on here. He just loves kids and his student teaching went very well. The kids all loved him. They all wrote him letters when he left saying that they didn't want him to leave and he was a great teacher. That meant so much to him. I'm sure he will be fine.
