eBay I just found someone who is trying to sell those dog biscuit cutters, recipes, and recipe cards you get at Target for $1.00 on eBay. They are trying to sell it for $2.75 and $4.00 for shipping. I hope someone is not stupid enough to do that. But I am sure someone will. And they are selling the rawhide chews and dog cookies. |
People are dumb enough to buy them bc he has at least sold 2 things. |
I suppose that's capitalism. :D |
I made sure I contacted the people who were purchasing from this seller and I let them know that what they are buying for $2.75 was bought for one dollar and that they can go to Target right now and get them. |
You're a good person! Hopefully they have a Target store. :) |
Hi Hinten. I just noticed you're in Crown Point. My vet is in Cal City :) I'm out there often buying cigarettes & gas ;) |
Bc it is cheaper right?? My vet is in Munster, IN(if you know where that is. |
It's not really cheaper. I started going to her because my ex's (Stewie's dad) mom recommended her. She's awesome. |
I was talking about the gas and cigarettes, not the vet(if that is what you are talking about) |
LOL. I am stupid!!! Yes, they are MUCHHHHHHHH cheaper :D |
it's ok..... |
I like the I love my white sox saying under your name |
That is kind of a rip off, but then again some of us don't have a Target store any closer than 100 miles away so actually it would be a good deal for those of us that don't have a Target, it would cost us alot more to travel to a Target store. Just a heads up though hon, its against ebay rules for you (if you are a registered ebay user) to interfere with anyones auction and can get you banned from ebay real fast. Ebay can be a good thing and sometimes it can be just as bad, I've seen lots of stuff with crazy prices. I used to sell good condition old used books on ebay that I would pick up at thrift shops, now I would start these auctions very low but there was times when I would make quite a bit of money from an old book I gave a dime for. Some may say thats wrong but those people wanted that book bad enough to keep bidding and getting the price higher and higher, I guess it all falls back to supply and demand. I bought a boxful of old Cherry Ames books once for 2 dollars and after all was said and done I probably made over 300.00 on these books, they sell like hotcakes on ebay, or did at the time I had mine for sale. |
They have already bid on the item, so they have to pay for it I am just letting them know that they are paying 7.75 for something that costs a dollar. I understand selling stuff to make money off of them. Anyway eBay is on my s*** list here lately becuase of the mix up that have happened to me twice in the past to months even thought we were told he had been fixed the first time. They are charging someone elses sellers fees to my bank account!!! They act like they don't even care. |
Oh my, I think I would tell them if they didn't get that straightned out I would have my lawer contact them. I don't understand how in the world they could make a mistake like that. Have you checked my ebay to make sure someone hasn't stolen your account password and actually selling on YOUR account? My sister in law had someone selling things on HER account, she had to contact ebay and get it all straightned out and change her password and everything, it was a huge mess all around. And you know if someone does that, the bidder is going to get nothing, its a bunch of scammers out to rip people off. They never did let her know if the culprit was found and what was done about it. |
wow...what some people will do for a buck.... |
I received a lot of false email here's lately asking for my name and password or I'll be banned from Ebay. It says something about having to verify information blah blah blah. be careful. Remember if an email is actually from ebay it will also show up in your mail on your my ebay page. suzu1- If you come across any old Dean Koontz book (prior to 1974) or Deanna Dwyer or Brian Coffey (both Dean Koontz psydanyms (sp)). I would be happy to pay you more than a dime for them if I don't have them already and then you won't have to pay ebay fees. |

That one way to view mail from eBay. You can also set your mail perferences through your my eBay page to html only. Then any "official" email from ebay comes without any pictures, just text. Course the scammers don't know HOW your preferences are set and their emails come complete w/ official looking ebay logos. This does not affect any other emails you may receive elsewhere. HTH. |
Forgot to add.....my sil's family lives in Nebaska and Kansas. The nearest stores are 75 miles away. They do ALOT of shopping on line via ebay. Not everyone lives in the 'burbs. |

I just wanted to say that I live in a small town that only ahs a walmart. I have to drive over an hour or so to go to places like Targetor wherever. I fi can buy something im looking for off ebeay that may cost more than if you just go buy it that smy preference and its doesnt make me stupid!!!!! Id rather pay 2.25 for the stuff and 4.00 for shipping rather than 1.00 for it and 30.00 in gas. Nobody should judge anybody without knowing there situation. Hooray to the ones that can save that big old 1.75 but for us that cant help it we shouldnt be looked down on. Its really none of your business!! |

I use to be an e-bay fanatic simply because I didn't want the hassles of going out and buying things. I'd rather just shop at home, have it delivered to my home and not have to mess with traffic jams or people jams in the isles...PLUS, it saved a lot of time. |
