It is the most entertaining thing I've read in ages. I honestly could see QS writing this as a book for children. And, BB's post would make a perfect title. |

Thanks, you guys. :D Anyway, Thor didn't mention any other dogs on the mission, but he's a credit hog. I'm sure whoever they are, they did their part. I'd love to hear more about them too. |
Hahahah. QS, I love you. And your Mighty Dog Thor. |

I don't know how man could get along without dogs! If SEALS even need dogs, that tells you how invaluable they are for the rest of us just regular people. Great photos. When I got my first Yorkie back in '78, I got the two sisters' book about Yorkies and read the story of little Smoky and just felt so proud of the tiny breed I had just "discovered". I remember that darling photo of her in her soldier/owner's helmut! They still show that photo today when doing stories on war dogs. Shoot, the SEALS may have their own version of Smoky for close-quarters work - who knows? |

She was a little doll! But what she did was really incredible. They have pictures of her in the book doing a little high wire act after the war. She was so smart and talented and quite the little athlete. |
