Your most annoying noise? I know we all live such a noise-polluted lifestyle these days, that as I was setting my clock for the usual early wake-up, it got me thinking that of all the daily irritating noises we live with, I guess there is none more irritating to me than the impersonal, insistent beep-beep-beep of that electronic clock going off so early every morning! Then I started thinking how I hate to hear those really loud TV commercials where the person is practically yelling or the music defeaning and you jump it is so loud. Anyone else out there with a noise you just can't stand? |

The sound of the registers scanning each item is beyond annoying! I never really noticed it until recently. I mean, I knew the sound, but it is really SUPER annoying! The beep beep beep of a backing up vehicle, or the fork lifts in Wal-mart or the lumber warehouses, gets on my nerves. |

I also absolutely cannot stand alarm clocks. I just want to chuck them into the wall and watch it fall apart into tiny little pieces every single morning. At work on he radio station that we always have on, this lady screams "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" really loudly during the commercial breaks. I also want to inflict great pain onto the radio when I hear that. |
I was awoken to STREET SWEEPERS this morning.:rolleyes: I guess i shouldnt complain...at least they didnt do it at 3 AM like they did last year:thumbdown |
My refrigerator constantly makes a vibrating noise. It is SO annoying!!!!! :mad::thumbdown |
Anyone else running a vacuum cleaner. If I'm using it for some reason it's not as annoying, but when dh runs it, I can't wait for it to be shut off! And ya, those super loud annoying commercials, the car sales ones are the worst. |
I love the warm and hot weather, but I don't like all the noise the landscapers make with their equipment when they are at my next door neighbors house. |

I hate the sound of the florescent light in my kitchen, I instead use the hood light if I can. I also hate the sound diesel engines. Our security at the apts. has a truck & he practically idles in and out of all of the lots all night long. (yes, i like being safe, but it's still annoying). |
For me it's the loud boom box thumping sound that comes from a car a block away. Ugh...don't subject me to your loud and annoying music. |

As you get older I've noticed, that the noise that used to bother, you can't hear anymore! Lol |

Another sound that drives me nuts was that whining/buzzing thing florescent lighting used to make, I guess as it was trying to die or something. It could drive you crazy in about 60 seconds. |
The irritating gravelly voice of my co-worker. Ugh! :p Doesn't help that she doesn't have anything good to say and she's just plain irritating herself. |

The worst for me is hearing someone sharpen knives, or scrape a metal utensil on a metal pot or pan. The sound just makes me feel instantly nauseous, I HAVE to get away from it. Another one is picking at fingernails. My boyfriend picks at his nails when he's watching tv, and it drives me nuts. |
