On my list of must see films! |
the movie looks excellent, i really want to see it! |
I loved the book. I almost don't want to see it because of how badly books get torn apart when made in to movies (The Time Traveler's Wife and My Sister's Keeper are just two recent examples). |
Saw it tonight with my kids! I've not read the book, so wasn't prepared for the graphic parts of the story & that had me cringing in my seat. Patterson was good, Witherspoon ok...loved the elephant. Pretty good movie, worth paying to see at the theater. |
I thought is was a good movie, but... I don't want to say anything else bc some of you haven't seen it yet. Don't read on... I was very disappointed in how weak it was about exposing an industry that it should have been exposing. And the place where they got the elephant for the movie - very concerning. There are some who believe that the elephant in the movie has been abused by handlers. Soooooooo, would not recommend that people put movie into it honestly. |

Oh and I read in In Touch (for what it's worth!) that Reese said that the loves scenes with Pattinson were "disgusting" for her. hahaha.... |
I read the book and finally got to see the movie. I was disappointed. The book was so much better, imo. I really like Reese and Pattinson, but the storyline of the movie was just not as interesting of the book to me. |
