Also, love the time we spend in Texas from the pine woods of east Texas, to the King Ranch and spending time with numerous relatives in the DFW area. Although, I could live without the DFW traffic:eek:
My area of Oklahoma is beautiful, at the foot of the Ozarks, with numerous lakes for boating, and clear, cold, spring fed creeks. Nothing beats springtime in Oklahoma with the dogwoods, and redbuds blooming throughout the woods or the beautiful blazing colors of autumn mirrored onto lakes and streams. But the best part of Oklahoma is the people....they are dedicated, hard workers, friendly and some of the most generous people ever, that would give you the shirt off their backs if you needed it. |
