Oh great a koi owner I may have questions for you later on down the road. I tried to keep a couple in a garden pond but they passed so this will be a new experience actually having a pond big enough for them

Karen - I really admire how hard you've fought for where you are now. Addiction is a devastating disease, and so tough to cure! I've seen my share of this in plenty of people and it's such struggle - a lifelong struggle for the addict, and their families.

I had always wished that it was a requirement when joining YT that you include a little synopsis of yourself. I love this thread..
My name is Jackie. I grew up in a small town and *moved to a rural area where I have lived for the past 50 years. I'm 64 and can't wait till I can retire. As an RN I have worked in a Heath insurance company for many years after an injury to my back while working in a hospital. I am happily single although I had always planned on being marred with at least 6 kids. (Things don't always go as planned) *but I'm happy with my 4 fur kids. 2 yorkies, a King Charles Cavalier and a Coton de Tulear. My mom of 96 lives with me and thank God, she is in good health. I have recently sold my Yahama but enjoyed many hours riding. 64 is way too old to ride a bike.*
I feel in love with YT and have met so many friends because of being here. I love, reading, shopping, boating, and keeping in contact with old friends.*

I HAD boobies, until I beast fed (sorry TMI) no one talks about them getting smaller which is so ironic because I used to be all sensative about being a small framed woman with ugh a 'well endowment' saying okay I could loose a little here...then it was like okay I lost some...ugh I lost enough...excuse me where are they going...ugh where did they go?!?

Now I'm looking at getting mine back-my real ones back to almost where they were-which will end up being 'real...real expensive ones' LOL! Yeah I suppose it's fair to say some of us never know when to just be happy with what we have!

I forgot! There's been some advancement on fat replacement etc...maybe they can take some off some areas I don't nee the endowment and use that where I do...oh one could hope right?

Well after breast feeding 3 kids I had nothing but 2 empty sacks. lol. I had fat transfer done. He used smart lipo on my belly fat and put that fat back into my breast which gave me rounder and more fuller breast. I'm a 34 D and love it....They look, feel and are natural. You should do it...My daughter just got implants from a Doctor is San Diego and he did the best job I have ever seen. Cost her about $7000.

Hello!
A little about me...
I am 37 years old and I have 3 awesome kids. My son Victor is 15, my oldest daughter Grace is 9, and my youngest daugter Eva is 8. Eva is adopted from Guatemala. I brought her home from Guatemala when she was 9 months old. I visited her there when she was 3, 5, and 7 months. I LOVE adoption and am so blessed that God led me to be her mom.

First and formost I am a Christian. I would have NO life worth living if I didn't have Christ in my life. My life has not been easy, but I would not change anything about it because it has given me the relationship that I have with God. During the hard times I drew close to Him, and I know He has drawn close to me.

My father died when I was 2 months old and my stepfather of 9 years (the man I called Daddy and loved as a father) left us when I was 12. We grew up pretty poor, but it has only made me appreciate all that I have today. My mother tried her best, but was pretty abusive at times. She was from an abusive situation too and wasn't strong enough to do better. (She is very sweet now, just had a hard time raising three kids going through all she went through.)

I married my high school sweetheart and suffered the biggest heartbreak I could ever imagine when we divorced.

I am now married to one of if not the very best person I have have ever known. We've been married 11 years this month. He is the most generous and loving and caring person I have ever met. He is the very best father I could imagine for my kids. He has healed SO many wounds from my past. We love to travel when we can afford it!! I've been to lots of great places...Greece, Africa, Italy, Mexico (on a mission trip), Guatemala, Hawaii, St. Lucia, Jamaica, and I am sure I am leaving out a few!:)

A year and a half ago my husband made one of my biggest dreams come true by letting me get a horse!!!!! I have a Quarter Horse named Phoenix that I love oh so much!

I have 3 best friends that are human, and three that are animals. Guess I'm pretty lucky!!

My hobbies include reading (I read about 30 novels a year, sometimes more), dollhousing - here is a link to some of my dollhouse projects Pirategirl2006's photos and albums on webshots, training my horse using Parelli, loving on my Yorkies, and photography.

I am a stay at home mom...it is the best job in the world! I also volulnteer as a youth coach to the middle school and high school kids. I've been doing that for 14 years. I love those kids!!

I used to be more focused on fitness and my appearance, but have unfortunately let that slack a little! In some ways it is very freeing. I used to not be able to leave the house without makeup on and worried about every little extra pound. I do need to get back into shape though as I want to live a long healthy life!!

Wow, that is a novel!! I guess I should have started by saying it is "a lot about me!" Sorry.... (p.s. I have pics of my Yorkies and my horse on my profile page. And a pic of me too.)

I'm loving reading this thread....so much to learn about everyone!!

ChibiLuv 04-07-2011 11:05 AM

This thread is so interesting! My name is Veronica and I just moved from California to Texas with my boyfriend. He got a great job promotion so we packed up our stuff and moved in three weeks time! I lived in California my whole life so this has been an interesting journey so far. I am a Registered Veterinary Technician and just love working with animals. I live and breathe animals. In my spare time I learn more about dogs, behavior, training, ect. I hope to maybe one day be a dog trainer. In my spare time I like to scrapbook and play with photo editing software. I play some games on X-box, mostly Viva piñata and Lego games but I cant wait to get Kinect and play Kinectimals(check out this cuteness: http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Kinectimals/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024d5308b3)
I love watching movies; popcorn is one of my big weaknesses( next to chocolate)! My favorites are sci-fi and cute kid’s films (Wall-e, Finding Nemo, ect.). I like to read but I haven’t had much time lately, as a going away present my job gave me this cool book about Allergy Solutions for dogs so I will have to read that. I love taking my dog for walks in the park, enjoying nature. I have only one pet at the moment, my spoiled little boy yorkiepoo but hopefully there will be more yorkies in my future ;) My boyfriend is allergic to animals and that’s how I got into yorkies and their mixes in the first place but you know it makes me love him more because without him I may have never know about this breed and now I can’t imagine having anything else. :D

Wow, I feel like I actually know some of you personally now. ;)

My name is Kaci, I am a Christian. Just read on and you will see why....I have been beyond blessed!
I have been with my dh for 9 years, married 6.
I am *ahem* 30. Ugh that was such a hard age to turn for me! I'm still not over it!
I have 2 tattoos. My dh has too many to count! LOL
I have 5 children (all mine dh and I have 3 together) 4 boys and 1 girl
I had my first when I was 16!! Now my last when I was 28. He was a surprise! I made my dh get fixed after I found out with number 5! :p
My last baby Logan will be 2 in August and he IS a miracle baby in every sense of the word. I was told (because of some heavy bleeding) at 8 weeks I would miscarry him. I didn't. When he was 2 weeks old, he turned blue at the dr office and was rushed by ambulance to Children's Hospital. He has/had several conditions including laryngomalacia, bradycardia, dysphagia, severe GERD, OSA, and now an Inguinal hernia. He had surgery on his airway at 2 1/2 weeks old and nearly passed away directly after from anesthesia related issues. He has since had a few more procedures and done fine. He is having hernia surgery this summer sometime. He takes thickener in everything liquid he ingests. When we came home from the hospital 2 and a half months after being admitted, he had in home nursing care until October last year. We had a mini hospital and equipment set up at our house. I met my BFF at the hospital (she was one of his nurses) and she left the hospital to be his in home nurse! I LOVE her! She saved both of our lives!

I got Bella with the intention of making my Logan have some joy in his little life. The first time he saw a dog, he lit up and it was priceless! :) I had always wanted a Yorkie, so win win!

I am a girly girl, but like to do outdoorsy stuff also. I have my concealed handgun license. I LOVE to go to the shooting range! I love to shop, watch scary movies or any movie really. I DVR my soap opera everyday! :p I like to fish, and play games with my kiddos!

I am a junkfood junkie. My dh is a healthfood freak! Opposites attract!
I am 5'6 and 120lbs with blonde hair. I am also a C cup.

Okay, my computer was having issues uploading these pics so let's see if it worked....If it did, the first one should be me in Cancun '08. The next is Logan when he was around 6 mos old (my fav pic of him) The next should be of my dh...HA! Only the one of Logan worked.

I don't think there is anything wrong with small boobs,I prefer small "real" boobs over big fake ones, personally I think Paris Hilton's boobs are very sexy.Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in,and give a guys perspective, sorry if I offended anyone.

Good for you for getting away from the past guy! So many women find it hard to get away. I am happy to hear you are with a guy that treats you like a queen!! I think all women should be treated like Queens!
