I am so sorry to hear of your great loss, Lila. There is nothing that can break the bonds between a mother and her child. I lost my mom so long ago, but I will always feel her love. I hope your mother's love always sustains you and that, even though you are mourning, you can celebrate the life and love you shared. My prayers are with you and your family. |
I am so sorry about the loss of your momma. I too lost my mom 31 years ago yesterday and the hole in my heart is still there but getting smaller. God Bless you and know that we are here for you....Lissette |

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my Mom last April. There is no other bond or loss like your mother. You are in my thoughts and prayers. |

I am so sorry for your loss. This helped me when my father in law passed away. Gone From My Sight I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side, spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone" Gone where? Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast, hull and spar as she was when she left my side. And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me -- not in her. And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone," there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!" And that is dying... |
