Waiting is the hardest part. Just make it as fun as you can. Talk to DH about all the things you want to do to the house, once you're there it will be easy since you'll have a plan. I'm so excited for you! :)

So very happy for you!!!! Your home looks awesome! I agree with the precautions about hawks and coyotes. We have lots of hawks and wildlife around us...you can never be too careful!

Congratulations! Tell your DH you need an engagement ring as a housewarming gift! ;) A big fat diamond! :p

:D DvlshAngel985- I know, we went and got all our appliance's yesterday, and the great thing is Home Depot will deliver and install!! One less thing DH has to do! We have been talking about what we are going to do, I told him I wanted to make a yorkie theme bathroom lol he didnt really go for that, but I think I will be able to squeeze him!


Bitsy- Thanks girl, Well I have my 2 promise rings now, I told him the other day where is my "real" ring, he said the house is my ring :rolleyes: I told him I cant wear the house!! :p We will see, once we settle in.. Maybe. Its ok I love him and I love my rings I have now ;) they mean the most to me :D

Congratulations!!! We did things backwards too, my bf and I bought a house together a year ago, and I'm still waiting for a ring :rolleyes: He just keeps saying "one day"!

Your house is beautiful and I love the nice big yard! You are going to love owning your own place! I passed the time thinking about paint colors and all the things I might change! I spent a lot of time on behr.com using their colorsmart program and had a good idea for paint colors when we finally moved in :D

linz06- Thanks, Dh is going to do alot of work! He wants to make the master bigger, and all kinds of remodeling! I don't mind doing things backwards, My brother is down my throat all the time, when are you guys getting married... then my SIL is when are you guys having a baby your niece needs a cousin!! blah blah BLAH!! I am happy where things are, I know we both love eachother with everything and we will be together until we die, we have so much trust in eachother, he is my best friend and all that good stuff. Right now I am not worried about marriage, I know it will come when it does! At least now we will have a nice house to have a baby in, when that time comes!!

How wonderful!!!!! I'm so happy for you! :) Buying your first home is sooo exciting! I really hope everything works out perfectly! The yard is beautiful, Pnut will have a blast there! :)

This weekend we are MOVING!!! I am so excited!!!! :D Over the weekend we cleaned our apt!! We should be getting the keys today or tomorrow!! Ahhhhh I cant wait!!!!!! :D

Congratulations how exciting for you and Pnut. Watch him all the time we had a coyote in our yard about a month ago and we have hawks. I never let mine out without me. Hope you enjoy your new home, maybe dh can build extra space for pnut to have a new friend.

:D Thank you. Apparently the H.OA sent out a letter that there was a lot of sightings of Coyotes, so we will have to be on our watch! Pnut is never and will never be out there without me so I am not worried.

Well we got our keys!! We went over to the house last night, we met the realtor at our apt she gave us the keys. She told us that the owner wanted to clean the house before we got there, so we gave her a couple hours. When we finally went over there to look at the house, it was so messy! Just really dirty and dusty, IMO she didn’t clean anything! DH sprayed bleach all over the cement, and he sprinkled poison out in the grass areas and flower beds. We got the Pet friendly poison, it is suppose to kill fleas and ticks and other creepy crawlies. The owner told the realtor that they have an outside cat, and if we do not want the cat to come around then don’t stick food outside. Well apparently the cat loves to bring dead birds to the house, DH found 4 dead birds in the backyard grass, and he found the cats pooping area, in the backyard flower bed!

DH and I have a lot of work to do, we were so overwhelmed when we left the house! We are having the inside cleaned today, so hopefully we will feel a little better when we go over there and it is all clean!

Congrats!! Sorry, just found this thread. I'm so excited for you!

I wouldn't sweat the piece of paper either (marriage lic). The paper doesn't necessarily mean things are going to work out. I would shoot for the "working out".

PS - Although more rings NEVER hurt the cause! Why stop at diamonds? Pearls are nice, onyx, rose quartz.....:D

LoL, I know where we both stand in our relationship and thats all that matters. Our marriage will come, one day :D I love ruby's!!

I'm just seeing this thread. I am so excited for you. I love your new home. It looks like you are going to have a view of the night lights! Very nice yard Pnut is going to have! Congrats and enjoy!
