Sad... 1 Attachment(s) I have been reading and viewing pics of the devastation in Japan. My heart broke a bit more with each picture, but this one left me devastated. Attachment 340446 Can you imagine having to go through this? The humans are suffering, but this one reminded me that their beloved furkids are suffering too. I keep praying for everyone in Japan. I hope things finally look up for them soon. Now, I'm going to go see if I can find a local donation center. Let's not forget they really need help! |
It is beyond belief what they are going through. My prayers and thoughts go out to them. |
It is so overwhelming. I have had to limit my time spent watching it all on tv, cause I was watching so much I couldn't get over the stress of it all; it is so depressing. My heart aches for all of the people and the animals. I just don't know how some of the elderly will continue to survive. Thank God they are of a culture that takes care of each other. |
Very sad. I was just commenting last night to yorkieusa about the heartbreaking pictures of homeless people crouching at the side of the road clutching their little doggies. My heart goes out to the people of Japan. :( |
It is all so very overwhelming... prayers for all affected by the earthquake and tsunami. |
It's so horrific. And the nuclear issues are so scary. During Katrina, so many people were forced to leave their pets behind. Even with everything that they lost to the devastation - I recall that one of the most meaningful/happy moments in the recovery was when they were reunited with their pets. |
Look at that lil yorkie in the backpack! It is all so heartbreaking. I was watching a man on the news and he was saying that it was his job to close the tsunami gate. To make a long story short, he said he lost his wife, son, daughter-in-law, and his four grandchildren. He completely broke down telling the story. He said if he hadn't put his job first, he might have saved his family.:( |

I think that picture really crushed me because, if anything were to happen here, that would be me with he yorkie in the backpack, trying to piece together what was left of my old life, and just trying to make sense of it all. |
My heart really goes out to those poor people. It is so darn sad. Something about the pets pulls at my heart too, in addition to seeing the people who have lost everything. Diane Sawyer in one broadcast turned and was dismayed by a dead dog laying on the ground. In a couple different reports on people in shelters, one woman had a cat on a harness and leash and another person had a rabbit in a little carrier. But something about this video really got me, these dogs are so touching Dog in Japan stays by the side of its ailing friend in the rubble - Yahoo! News |
