Just checking in to see how are doing. Hope all went well and you feel better!!:) |
Hello All! I got home around 10 and I took a nap, well I have been sleeping on and off. Everything went well..they didnt give me a IV just numbed the area. When she was numbing it, it felt like bee stings, LOTS of them. Then when she was injecting the Steriods, it was really strange..Kinda felt like pressure and like...Lol i dont know its hard to explain. I have been laying on ice, my Mom is still here and she said the area is kinda swollen. I still cant feel anything, its still pretty numb. Other than that everything is going good. Thanks for thinking of me :D |
So glad that it sounds like everything went well & that you are some what comfortable recuperating after an ordeal like that. Hope that tomorrow you will continue to improve quickly. Take care of yourself!! |
Thanks for the update. I honestly was starting to worry. |
Glad to hear it went well. |

Update. Today I feel good, but I am really sleepy. My back doesn't hurt.:D I hope it stays this way. I am at work today, so I am going to try to take it easy..:D |
I'm glad to hear that everything went well!! |
I'm glad everything went well and you have your Mom to comfort you!:aimeeyork |
Well im still not hurting, but the strange thing I have been in pain for so long im not sure what a back with no pain feels like. DH told me not to stress and "think" about it..he says just go with the flow! So im trying!! |
So glad all went well and it is all over. Enjoy the relief!!!! |
Well im kinda nervous now. Starting the day after my injections, i have this horrible sharp pain near my butt area..it hurts to walk, bend over, sit down..it is like really sharp almost burning pain. I emailed the Dr that did the injection and she hasnt responded yet.. does this sound normal or should i go to urgent care.? |
Could just be a post-injection flare, where one of the drugs wore off B4 the other kicked in or a nerve was a bit insulted by the needling. I always had more trouble from this type reaction from the nerve reacting to the needling than anything else but it went away after a couple of days. I always just used ice and toughed it through these bouts w/some pain meds but since it is your first, you are wise to run it by your doc. |
