Sunnie, gorgeous work on Lissette and Mary's bears! They do look like they could come to life. I love the facial expressions and all of the detail.

Sunnie is very talented. I can't even fold a model airplane. I agree, both are terrific.

Sonya does gorgeous work, she's a multi talented person. Not only bears, but in making some beautiful dog clothes and the satin donut beds she makes for my dogs are amazing too.

However, I can't say enough about the people that commissioned Sonya to make my bear/yorkie. Such a thoughtful, wonderful couple.

aww you guys.. thanks.. I really enjoyed making them. the teddy bear business has been very slow this last year so I was so excited to make these guys. and of course I love making the yorkies too. these 2 were only the 2cnd and third needlefelted yorkies I have made. I have done several mohair yorkies.

They are all original works of art. There should be a serial number on them....these are collectables for sure. I just wish I would be around in another 100 years to see the value.

Steve, they do have a number. It is on the certificate of authenticity.

Yes, they do and they have their birth date on them too. And you'll probably see that Sonya has named them too. My Bear & Yorkie is named Mary & Delilah. Sonya was very clever in copying the jacket I wore at the Yorkie Roving National. But, the brush was priceless since she makes fun of where I place my brush when I'm in the ring.

Wow!!! I knew Sonya made beautiful bears but these are just awesome and so so special! I'm sure they mean a lot to all of you! Every detail is amazing! Fabulous job Sonya!!!

it depends on whether I have to design the bear pattern or am using a pattern I already designed. As it was I used one of my existing patterns for these bears, but had to design the outfits from scratch. It takes about 18 hours making the bear, then longer for the outfits.
