And the good news is..... Last night they were calling for 2 to 4 inches of snow for us this afternoon...now they're only calling for 1 to 3. Of course we're still supposed to get 10 to 15 tonight and another 2 to 4 tomorrow but hey...we lost a whole inch in the forcast from one day to the next, right? :rolleyes: |
And the good news just keeps on a comin'...just checked NWS and for our area tonight now they are only calling for 9 to 13 inches instead of 10 to 15! :cheer: I know, I know...it's still a lot but I hate snow so I'm takin' whatever good news I can get and if it only comes an inch at a time well, that's fine! |

I'm with you Patti! My husband said to keep checking and maybe before tonight we won't be expecting anything at all! LOL! That works for me! Isn't it amazing that something so beautiful can also be so deadly and miserable? Oh well...this will give me time to get my tax papers together and I guess I could walk a few miles on the treadmill...might as well make the best of it! |

We are getting ice like 2 inches of it. We got some last night and were getting more today and tonight. My Husband is a courier and couldnt drive today so we redecorated our bedroom and it looks so nice we just used things we had to so it didnt cost any money. Our Northern counties are getting the snow. Ill be glad when this winter is over. This one has been a pain |

Blizzard warning until 3 p.m. tomorrow for us with 1 to 2 inches of snow per hour possible. Good thing there are some fast winds blowing this thing through...can't imagine what we would be getting if it was moving slowly...and they're also predicting thunder snow for our area...this is some strange weather! |
The winds are terrible here. We lost power once already for a short time. I am tired of snow blowing already and we have 14+ inches to come. |
Wow...Peanut was standing in front of the doggie door looking outside, the wind blew it open and scared him half to death...he jumped straight up in the air and ran over to me! I figured it was time to put the slide in and lock it shut for a while...they can use the pads for the night! |
we are also under blizzard warning winds have recorded by our house at 54mph and upto 2 ft of snow. I hate snow:( my doggies are running around scared when the hear the wind gusts! Stay safe everyone!! P.S. looking outside right now and cant see across the street:eek: |
The wind has been quiet for the last hour or so now...maybe that's a good sign. Holy cats I spoke too soon! Lightning just lit up the whole house and the thunder shook the ground :eek: Moo jumped on my lap from a dead sleep! LOL! Now she is snuggling with her dad and she ain't moving! Oh, and it's still snowing :rolleyes: weird stuff... |
