FACEBOOK privacy setting - Impt. Some of you may already know this, but Facebook is changing the way it is keeping our information private. See below: The New FB Privacy setting called "Instant Personalization" goes into effect soon. The new setting shares your data with non-FB sites & it is automatically set to "Enabled". Go to Account>Privacy Settings>Apps & Websites>Instant Personalization>edit settings & uncheck "Enable". BTW If your friends don't do this, they will be sharing info about you as well. |
I've already done this on my FB page. This is great of you to spread the word. I can't stand the way facebook makes changes and auto enables everything. Most people never even know it. |
Just checked mine. It was enabled! I'll make sure to share this with the few friends I have on FB. |
Thanks. I didn't know anything about it. I sent it to a bunch of friends. I went in and unchecked enable. |
Thanks for the notice! I just checked mine and enable was unchecked. |
Just shared this with my brothers. My little bro just went ahead and deleted his profile. I'm tempted to do the same, but I use FB to chat with my cousins in Mexico. |
Thank you for posting the how-to on this. I had read a story on it a while ago. |
