Anyone have a Sequoia or 4 Runner
 
Time for a new vehicle. Thinking really hard about one of these two....anyone drive the sequoia or 4 runner? How do you like it, and would you recommend it? I know they're probably gas guzzlers...but, with 6 babies, they got to have room, right??

I love my 4Runner. :thumbup::thumbup: I doubt I'll ever buy anything besides another 4Runner. It actually gets much better gas mileage than a lot of SUV's - I haven't checked lately but I used to get in the mid 20 mpg's.

Mine is a 2004 (bought in 2004) and I've had a flat tire, one burned out tail light and one headlight just went out. That's it - never had it in the shop for anything else except regularly scheduled maintenance.

I like the Sequoya's too, but the 4Runner is just a better size for me - I don't need the extra room in the Sequoya.

Thanks for your input. I drive a Yukon now, so DH thinks he needs all that room. :rolleyes: Since it will really be my car, I'm thinking the 4 runner will be just right! Besides, the Sequoia is quite a bit more $$....but, we'll see. :p Thanks again.

I have never owned either but have owned other Toyota's and *really* liked them. I like the 4Runner and Sequoya. I have an Accord now and miss my SUV. :(

I had a 4Runner for 10 years but now I have a Murano and LOVE LOVE LOVE it so much more than my 4Runner!!

I just got a Highlander and I love it. They also have a 3rd row seats.

I have a Seqouia and with 3 kids at home plus my furkid, it's perfect! We've never had a problem with the car at all. My husband is 6'3'' so there's enough room for everyone. Ours is 10 years old - still going strong, and for a large SUV I wouldn't have picked anything different.

Mu husband has a new four runner, and loves it!!! I have a Rav 4 (older model, but I bought it new) and wouldn't trade it for anything. No problems with either car.

I had a 2008 Toyota Sequoia and loved it! We downsized or I still would have it. I miss it very much. It is very roomy and comfortable. Maybe later we will get another one. I really had no complaints.. For being a suv.. We got descent fuel mileage.

My husband has a 4Runner. It's an '04 and still looks and runs great.

We have a Sequoia and love it. When we first got a SUV I started haveing back problems which ended up in surgery. A year later I had to have double knee replacements. At first I thought I should have had my head examined for wanting a Sequoia. Turns out, there is no way I can get out of a car or anything that sits down low. Our SUV is a lifesaver. It still hurts like heck but I can with my husband's help, get in out of it easily.

My sister just bought a brand new Sequoia and she loves it. I've ridden in it a ton, and I love it. It's huge, but gorgeous.

Oh the Sequoia is my dream! I have an Avalon and I want to move into that suv sooo bad!!! I drove a 4 runner for a week when my car was in the shop and I didnt like the bumpyness. The Sequoia is a much better ride. If the difference in price is no big deal, I would go with the Sequoia!!:D
