I got accepted!
Well, i heard back from head of admissions and i am a "prime candidate" to enroll in the teacher credential program....
Problem: I was going to enroll in the three semester program where i can still hold a job because teh classes are at 4 o clock..... I would LIKE to take the three semester program WITH INTERNSHIP which means i would have to take a leave of absence from my work for 15 weeks (i work with teh school district allready and since i am allready in teh system they will take me first and foremost for their internship program) and do full time classes during the day, and i would do an internship for a year and classes (which counts towards my student teaching and i get regular teacher salary of about $40,000/yr)
Okay now this is the problem that i am having, the program i woudl LIKE to take (the internship) means i cant work, and my fiance and i NEED the income, the only way i can take this program is if he gets his promotion to salary manager (which bumps his income from 1100 to at least 1800)
Now im not one for praying really, but send youre positive energy, good thoughts, cross your fingers, close youre eyes and turn around, head shoulders knees and toes and whatever else my way because i NEED HIM TO GET THAT PROMOTION!!!!!! (oh, and i dont know when i have to have my answer by for the program.... and my fiance wont know about hsi job for another TWO WEEKS..... :( he got really mad at me when i asked if there is anything that can speed up the process.... it was just a question but i guess he is just as nervous as i am :( |
