Hi there, just wondering if anyone knows HOW I can change my user name?:rolleyes:

I think you need to contact admin. If I remember correctly, they will need to close your present account??? You would need to open a new one with a new username. You need to contact admin, because you aren't allowed to have two user accounts. I think this is correct anyway.

You're right, that's the only way to do it. You do lose all your post count, and donating status if you have it. I want to change mine since I went with something from HS, and I honestly didn't think I would stick around. Turns out, I love this site!

I wish there was another way to change our names too. I don't think I could have imagined sticking around for years either. Mine came from another site where we had so many Debras we decided to identify by state so people would stop confusing us. :) I would like something more "yorkie-ish."

One option we do have is the User Title under our member name. Once you have 500 posts, you can ask Admin to change it to whatever you'd like (within reason). Maybe that would be something for the OP to look forward to?

I know -- I had used both capitals on the other site but somehow on this one it was a small "l" which doesn't pop out and say Florida like FL would have.

LOL, I wish I could change mine too. Mine comes from Moka's nick name, and I had no idea at the time there was a doggie clothing company by the same name, LOL.

I thought the Fl (small L) stood for Fighting or Football Lady!

lol...you're right, for the longest time, when reading your user name, I read it as...... FiDebra....the small "l" looked to me like a capital I.

Ha Ha - I always thought it was FIDebra also!! Mine is Salazark. I've since divorced and remarried and I'm still hanging around with my ex's name. I would love to have my real name Fratesi - or probably more likely something Yorkie related. Husbands may come and go but my Yorkies will be with me forever!!! JK - I love my husband!

I thought it looked funny that way but did not realize so many thought it was "Fi." :D I should have used all CAPS but then someone might think I was yelling. ;)
