Ebay Fiasco! I bought a photoshop Elements 2 CD on ebay that ended on the 13th of October. I paid it through paypal that same day. 2 weeks later, I still had not received it, so I wrote to the seller. He wrote back saying he was so sorry and that he had totally forgotten to mail it and would get it in the mail right away and I'd have it in 2, 3 days at the most. Anyway, I was nice and wrote that I'm understanding and know that lives can get hectic at times and mistakes happen. I should have had it last Monday or Tuesday if he had mailed it as he promised. I wrote him again on Wednesday or so to say I haven't received it and my patience is drawing thin. Never heard back from him so yesterday I went into pay pal resolution center and filed a complaint, which was three weeks after the payment for my item. This is the email he sent me that I got today: Subject: Ebay Item Ok this thing you did with paypal is rediculous...absolutely rediculous...your item is IN the mail...it is going to your house, also take note to this...it is not my fault your project is past its deadline, you NEVER informed me you HAD to have it immediately, what you have to take into consideration is other peopls lifes...possibly I have been incredibly busy and have had no time what so ever to go to the post office to mail 1 cd...im not about to jeopardize other things that I HAVE to do in my life to mail out 1 CD...I mailed it when I was able to mail it! Had you told me you had to have it immediately...then it would have been a completely different story! Now you have screwed up everything that I have going on with ebay and paypal...my hundreds of dollars in my paypal account supposed to be going to my bank to pay the bills at the end of the month, that has been stopped because of your completely uneeded behavor...this is truley remarkable...I told you awhile it was in the mail...IT IS IN THE MAIL this is all I have time for, I have to go and take of business, this is absolutely aggrovating and frustating to no end...if im late on my bills by the middle of the month...you better believe im filing a law suite!!!! unneeded behavior This was my response to him...the nerve of that man! What I think is ridiculous is your excuses and threatening me with a law suit! Nowhere in your description of this auction did you say you wouldn't be mailing this for 3 weeks or more. When I pay for something, I expect it to be mailed soon thereafter and that I receive it in a timely manner. I gave you the benefit of the doubt once I heard back from you apologizing for forgetting to mail it, and that you would mail it right away and I would have it by Monday or Tuesday, Nov 1st, at the latest. Those days came and gone with no CD. I also waited another 3 days to file with the resolution center of Paypal. If you cannot take out time to make a trip to the post office with the ebay items you have sold, then you should not be selling on ebay. Most sellers, including myself, go to the post office with what we have sold, the day we receive payment or the next day. Never would I think of just waiting until I had the time...like it is a big bother. It may seem like a bother, but it is common courtesy and I the responsibility of the seller! You are a very rude person and I shall be forwarding your email to paypal. I am very slow to anger, but you have pissed me off. You lied to me when you said you'd mail it at the two week point. We are neighboring states and it shouldn't take more than 2 days, 3 days at the most to receive it. It was not my behavior that caused you your problems...it was YOUR behavior and you can't blame anyone but yourself. While typing this email, I received the package. Finally! It was postmarked November 3rd...a week after you promised to mail it. I will resolve the matter with paypal, but you can count on negative feedback from me! I have never before dealt with a seller as rude as you! By the way...maybe you should consider using spellcheck in future emails! Also...want you to know your email was forwarded to friends and family who are all laughing their butts off. I'm sorry I ever did business with you and you can rest assured it will never happen again. Connie |

Oh, wow! Has he emailed you back yet? or left any negative feedback for you? That is crazy! I sell things on ebay too, & I always mail it within 3 days of receiving payment. I can't believe how rude he was! Like it was your fault his bills weren't gonna get paid! :rolleyes: |
WOW! At least they e-mailed you back. I'm fixin to file with PayPal too. It will be 31 days on the 8th that I paid for something and still have not received...from someone with over 1,500 positive feedbacks! |
OMG.. He is slow and ignorant! He doesn't need a spell check, he need a grammer consultant. I payed for my item's on ebay Tuesday, and got them today from Australia. |
What a jerk !!! I agree on filing a complaint - you can leave comments and Ebay should know about him - If your going to SELL On Ebay and be sucessful - you have to do as you promise and that email to you was totally unnecessary - How rude and how WACKED he sounds |

This guy was something else! Hey...Thorsmomma had a great suggestion, but it won't allow enough space for that. I'm going to see if there's a way to put it on my website and put the link in my negative feedback for him. Boy, would he be totally ticked at me! I haven't yet left feedback, but will be doing it soon! hee hee What a jerk! |

gahhhh, what a butt hole! if he was so worried about paying his bills with paypal money you would think he would go out of his way to have satisfied customers so that he could continue to profit...some people are just really ignorant. no way can he sue you for that. he was in the wrong and the complaint section is there for a reason....FOR COMPLAINTS! kinda has me worried though..lol, i'm bidding on several clothing items for my 8 yr old daugther now....hope those folks are not like him. best wishes to you and dont let that ignoramous get to you... |

Hey all...I heard back from Mr. Jerk...now I'm really scared to leave bad feedback! NOT! LOL by ebay regulations I have 30 days to get that item shipped to you...from the date of purchase, anything past that...then and ONLY then the seller has to right to file a complaint! You recieved the item within 30 says though...so this auction warrants no negative feedback, not on my part, and not on your part! According to the book, I did everything within acceptable peramiters. Oh yea thanks alot for noticing I made typos...BIG DEAL, joke |
What a Jerk!! "Law Suite" hahaha.... What the heck!! Your ebay guy was worse than mine... I had a mean one last week when I turned him into paypal. I ordered a cd for my bird and he sent it with no protection at all and it was broken in half. I emailed him at least 5 times and he would not respond I gave him plenty of time to get back to me. He told me thanks for the worst experince he has ever had!! haha.... Well he did it to himself.. just like your guy!! Whats going on lately. Never had a problem in all the years we have bought and sold on ebay and then we both get one within a week of each other!! Ugh..... As for you cathing his "typos" haha... that was more than typos.. he needs spelling lessons... I am cracking up over this.... |

You had every right to report him to E-bay's paypal dept. In no way should you have been expected to "advise that you needed your item won and paid for immediately". You paid for it in a timely matter so the sellet should have sent it in a timely matter, w/ no exceptions. The sellers have just as much responsiblitly in following through as the buyer does in paying for the product. He was very rude in his comments to you ~ No excuses on his part whatsoever. |

Well, I for one am glad that people like you provide negative feedback for situations like this. It's bad business to make promises and not keep them. I agree- if his life is so busy then perhaps he should drop the Ebay bit for a while. What a jerk. Good for you for doing something about this! |

Could you tell us who this seller is so the rest of us don't deal with him? I do a lot of business on ebay and Paypal is the reason as I know they will make life miserable for a deadbeat buyer or seller. |
