Black Friday SCAM at Walmart. Walmart is scamming you on Black Friday. Maybe only one this one case, but probably NOT. We just bought a Wii online. got the red limited edition console with wii sports, mario game, a controller and nunchuck with motion plus AND additional game of choose from a large list, additional nyco controller and nunchuck, and nyco charging station for 229.00 plus $15.00 shipping to our house..... Black Friday ad is 249.00 for just the console and normal games and controllers, not sure if they throw in extra game, extra controller, and extra charging station or not but either way it's more expensive on Black Friday in stores than it was tonight online..... DO YOUR RESEARCH just like everything else in life and make sure you don't fall for Black Friday scams!! |
I am sure this happens with many things during the Black Friday frenzy. People are caught up in the idea of getting a bargin, getting up at 2:00 a.m., they are convinced they are. Glad you got yours at a deal. :) |
LOL!! Leave it to Walmart! :) |

So true, I am an experienced Black Friday shopped and learned that sometimes a deal is not always a deal. In the case of Walmart honestly I have never had a problem but I have with Target and have learned to have an item in mind about 30 days prior, price compare and be ready to buy early or later than Black Friday. Perfect example is this year I am looking to buy a flat screen TV, I have been price comparing and thought I found the one I wanted on a pre Thanksgiving sale until I got an email from Target with an incredible deal. Well I took the Target deal, checked out online and was proud of myself until 2 days later (yesterday) I get an email saying "sorry we cannot fill this order). Lucky for me I went back and got the deal I wanted at what I consider a good price but it those tactics which make me mad, the deal which isn't a deal because they HAVE NONE. Good luck everyone with your shopping on Friday. |
Why get up at 2 am...shop Amazon from the link on the Yorkie Haven Rescue site. Save money, relax, and have a cup of coffee, and help the pups at the same time. |

They had a toy I have been looking at, that was $39.97. I went a few days ago and bought 2 of them at the store. The day I got them, earlier in the week I went online to look around and noticed it was $37.97. Today it was $39.97, it was only a $2 price increase but still, I never noticed they did this before. HOWEVER, I have been waiting on today to see if they cut the price on the purple laptop I've been wanting. I got on yesterday morning, and saw they dropped the price $30, I was thrilled! By early last evening they were sold out, glad I didn't wait til today to try and get it! |
that is too bad that walmart did that. I noticed the laptops they were marking down had low GB's and they werent very good lap tops. My Husband said the stores announced they will have sales again in January and thats when you could actually buy a quality computer at a reduced price. |
It's pretty much the same only a different color than the two we already have and they work great and runs fast! We have had them over a year, and have had no problems at all. Pretty soon everyone in the family will have one:rolleyes: there great laptops! |

I noticed this with another advertised "sale" item at Wal-mart, so I asked an associate about it. He told me that Wal-Mart is not associated with Wal-Mart on line at all and they don't honor those prices. They just team up together for things like free shipping to store and the use of the name. It is nothing more than an online distribution center. The same center that uses many other names. Don't know if this is true, but it would explain why you seen this difference. |
I bought a camera at walmart today a nice 12 mega pixel kodak camera for 59.99 well earlier in the week they wear selling the same camera with a battery charger two batteries and a case for 79.99 since i have a nice case and a battery charger(kodak brand) so i waited until today and got it $20 cheaper but if you needed that stuff its a rip off. |

My son went to Home Depot to get batteries. They were supposed to have 200 of the huge packs of AA batteries for $5. He was one of the first in line, only a handful ahead of him, and they were supposedly all sold out when he got in! So either their employees had bought them all or the store did not have nearly the 200 they were supposed to. Lots of disappointments every Black Friday. I retired for Black Friday shopping a few years back. I figure sometime between now and Christmas most of the Black Friday good deals will be repeated during normal business hours. Still I remember the excitement of the hunt -- the adrenaline rush in the quest for the good deal. ;) Now I leave it to those younger, more patient, and less achey than me. Enjoy it --it can be fun, especially if you have company and a good sense of humor. |
I went "black friday" shopping for the first time Thursday night. One of the outlets opened up at 10 pm on Thursday. Totally not worth it. It was cold, the lines were insanely long to just get in to a store. I came home with 2 tops from a store that was closing down. Their deals were good, but the store wide clearance would have been there today as well. Not worth it at all. |
