Luckily my TomTom wasn't too intelligent so it always placed my house just down the road, but all they have to do is start peaking into yards and they'll see my overly American Focus and know it's my place. I wish there was a doggy day care around here. I've looked into a few places but they were all poorly run kennels that over charge considering you're just leaving them during the day and pick them up in the evening. They charge extra if you provide your own food, and the dogs are free to run amuck as they please (not safe for the little doggies) so I gave up. My landlord and family almost always have someone at home, and if I can't make it home for lunch they check in on him for me. I let her know that they may know where I live, so she is being cautious not to leave when I'm at work, or she'll at least leave her daughter at home. We're being careful, and with any luck they'll see it as too big of a risk of getting caught and they'll give up. They are picking up their pace around here, what with the holidays and all.... |
Things are looking up, they've already said they'll reimburse me around 12-1300 for the items stolen, so minus the 250 deductible, and then another 350 to get the window repaired,, and once I replace the tomtom...well I guess I still didn't even strike even. Will be in the hole for the laptop, maybe I'll just downgrade the GPS...I'm sure someone has a used one...guess I'll be going for a while without a laptop...stupid thieves, I work so I can have nice things,, stupid mo'fo's don't do anything and now they have those nice things. Gah! I hope they catch them, as unlikely as it is. |
Yucky weekend for sure! :( Get better soon!! There is no worse feeling of violation than having your house or car broken into and things stolen, it\'s really ridiculous that some a$ can commit a crime against you and you can do nothing but PAY for it!!!! :( I\'ve had my car broken into too and they broke 2 windows I swear just for fun. One of the windows was a custom window triangle shaped and had tinted borders, that was custom order that cost me A LOT of money! :( |
I bet...even with insurance I\'m still coming out of pocket to replace. It\'s crap. If I had a junk car that was Euro-Spec it wouldn\'t be too expensive to replace the window. Gah, stupid punks. |
