I figured since I've had a few clients from YT, I would inform you all about my give away of a external hard-drive (120GB). All you need to do is like my Fan page and help me reach 300 fans by Dec. 1 then I will pick a lucky winner. I suggest liking the page even if your not interested in the Hard-Drive, cause of all the tips and How-to's I post about getting the most out of your computer(Mac & PC). Below is the link and hope everyone is staying safe with the recent Malware infection on YT.

Maybe you can help me -- what does that mean ''recent malware infection?" I got the warning that I was under attack but did not ever see what it was. My scan though did detect a virus -- first time I saw that and it freaked me out til I was certain it was something stopped by my Internet Security and not something I had. So, what is malware? Or is that a general term for anything not specifically identified?

Malware is all the bad stuff (ex. virus, trojan, scare-ware) rolled into one word.

I'm to the point that I'm afraid to even come on YT. Is there something more we need to do? I have several protections but that warning pops up everytime. :thumbdown

I wish their was, but as long as your protected with a anti-virus program and at least 2 ad-aware programs you should be safe. Its now in the hands of admin and the hosting company. This reminds me, what did you do about your sons computer that was boot looping?

Liked you too. I am in withdrawals without my desktop pc. It has a virus and I can't get on the internet:( Hope I'll get some money for Christmas to buy me a laptop.
