I'm glad you posted this. As heart wrenching as it is, I'd rather know about this possibility - than not know. It's something I just never would have thought about, and now I will when the time comes.

simply horrible! I don't know how I could mentally handle that. He seems like a wonderful pet owner faced with such a tough decision.

Still trying to figure out how this can even happen. Something is wrong somewhere. E's vet doesn't get it either. Even if somebody didn't check with the steth, the dog would've had to have been breathing. So something is just off. :confused: I wonder if they actually gave the right drug.

However, I think it wasn't her time yet.
I hope the owner can take care of her and keep her as comfortable as possible until her time comes...

Just wondering if anyone else noticed, the dog doesn't look in bad enough shape yet to be put down in my opinion. I hope a rescue contacts the owner . I think with the proper care this poor dog could have a couple of good quality yrs left. And obviously it wasn't her/his time yet.

Wow - I have never heard of something like this happening before. I can't even begin to imagine. I am glad he is looking for someone who can properly care for her though - that made my day. Hopefully she will have a chance at a new life...

This is random and probably not something someone would ask... but should he be entitled to a refund? I know I know that probably shouldn't even come across my mind... but it did. :(

I certainly hope he got a refund and a bum kissin as well. Can you imagine going through that? It's one of the hardest things as a pet owner you ever have to do and to have to do it again, WoW !I would hope if this guy keeps the dog, the vet would euth for free after that.

From what I've read, he did get a refund, but not the apology that would have ben expected.

Its definitely not about they money but the emotional aspect about the entire situation and the dog that is potentially suffering... I wonder if she/he has side effects of it? :confused: Not getting an apology (a sincere at that) is not just rude but unprofessional and would definitely lose my business.
