Yobs blew up our Yorkie with Fireworks

An elderly couple found their dog blown up by fireworks tied to her tail by Happy slap yobs. Maureen and Keith Barrington, both 67,spent all night looking for tiny Yorkshire Terrier Emmie after she ran away scared by rocket bangs. But next morning a neighbour told them their pet was dead. Keith said, I rushed over and found her body in the bin and my heart sank. Neighbour Kara McManus 28, saw the thugs taking photos of the dead terrier on their mobiles. Maureen said, They are sick in the head. How can they get a kick out of that,how can they make her suffer and film her and laugh at it? We think she was so scared by the firewoks that she bolted and was run over. Then these lads stopped as she lay in the road and blew her up and were taking photographs of her. They buried 11 year old Emmie in the garden with her favourite toy. Maureen said, she was lovely and beautiful and so tiny. Kara was woken by bangs in the early hours outside her home in Linthwaite, Huddersfield. She added, I saw the three lads approaching what looked like a pile of leaves on the road. Then they stood around it,got their phones out and started taking pictures. I could not believe what I was seeing. I felt sick to my stomach. I started banging on the windows to get them to stop. The youths jumped back in their car and sped off. Emmie was so badly hurt that at first Kara did not realise she was a dog. She said, It was awful to see that poor dog in the road. How anyone could do this to an animal is beyond belief. These idiots need to be punished. Retired fireman Keith said, my wife is just getting over cancer and I've had a triple heart bypass, Emmie gave us something to live for. The former Grenadier gaurd called for National Service to be brought back to tame the yobs. The RSPCA said yesterday, this was callous, unfortunately we hear of incidents like this every year around Bonfire Night,but this is truly awful.

R.I.P. Emmie.

This is a truly horrific story. It makes my stomach churn. There are some really heartless individuals out there. My heart reaches out to lovely Emmie and her family. RIP.

I'm completely distgusted from reading thi story, sick to my stomach in fact.These kids have major metal problems. I'm not one for violence, but if i ever got a hold of one of them....

you hold them and I will put the cuffs on them. Such a sad sad story. They
say that young people who show this type of behavior towards animals, many
times are, future serial killers. I hope this isn't the case here and they get
help.

It was so nice of you to post this article Mitchell and so good to hear from
you. Now that I see that dear little ones picture; I am even more outraged
that human beings can be so cruel.

sick mother f#####s id like to get hold of them and shove a firework in them see how they like it, they are very sick in the head iv got 2 sons 1 of 21 and 1 at 19 and i no if they saw that they would of done something about it, those so called human beings are going to grow up and kill how frightening is that.

That poor suffering dog...makes my stomach burn......disgusting. Nice to see the future Jeffrey Dahmers are alive and well....I'd have them castrated so they don't breed....

this just reminds me to Warn everyone to watch out tonight .. the freaks are these people are just a waste of flesh no soul no heart it makes me want to just vomit .. i bet there familys are so proud of the children they raised

I agree with yorkie mama....THOSE Evil kids are just wasting AIR on this earth and really really need to be punished for crimes like this - TOO MANY laws need to be changed and people like that need to be prosecuted !! THat is SICK and EVIL and how they think that is entertainment is just scary. That poor poor little yorkie and family - I would be out for BLOOD if I ever saw something like that

That is so sad that we have people who have no heart like that...to laugh and take pictures make them such shallow people that they should not even get to see the light of day again!!! These kids should be punished so harshly that they will never do anything to anyone again!!!
