Are Your International Titles legitimate? It has come to the attention of several exhibitors that Jeff Bridegum - President and Brooke Bridegum - Secretary, of the IABCA, are issuing Int'l titles on rare breeds that are not accepted by the UCI. Any breed not FCI recognized or accepted by Gunter Knoben of the UCI is not entitled to receive an International title with the UCI logo and name on it. If you are the holder of one of these fraudulent titles, know a rare breed that is showing, or paid for titles not yet received, you/they are entitled to ask for all monies back that you/they have spent for hotels, car rentals, show fees, titles fees, re-printing of registrations that depict your dog as an International Champion, etc... due to the fraudulent misrepresentation by the IABCA. A few of the breeds not accepted are listed below. Have you shown a legitimate breed and lost to a breed not allowed to receive Int'l titles? There is no such thing as a Provisional International Title. You are either allow to earn an International Title if approved of by the UCI, or you are not. Jeff has been told many times by Gunther Knoben that he is not allowed to issue International Titles on rare breeds not approved of by the UCI. If your breed is not listed among the FCI accepted breeds; FCI - Nomenclature des races , send a copy of your title, or proof that you showed with the IABCA, to Gunter Knoben, president@uci-ev.de or vdrevkoeln@aol.com If your dog is an accepted breed Jeff will be able to produce a standard issued on UCI letter head and signed by Gunther Knoben. Be advised that you are not eligible to advertise an Int'l Champion if your breed is not accepted, this constitutes fraud and is illegal. You can also file a complaint with the Oregon Attorney General. Truth prevails Here are the breeds that are being issued fraudulent titles. You will see that Gunther Knoben has posted on the UCI web site that these breeds are not allowed to have Int'l titles. Do you think this why they started all those lies about the Biewer Terrier? MiKi Alapaha Blue Blood Bull Dog American Pit Bull Miniature Australian Shepherd Toy Australian Shepherd Shiloh Shepherds http://www.uci-ev.de/english_site/news.htm MI-KI breed in the U.S.A. Every other by the national associations allowed breeds, that we are informed about, may be awarded in their respective countries with an international championship. |

For Immediate Release Thursday 09 September 2010 To All Exhibitors, especially those breeders and exhibitors of the MiKi, Shiloh Shepherd, Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, Toy and Miniature Australian Shepherd, and the American Pit Bull. Due to a personal vendetta by a certain breeder, a malicious and libel posting has been made to some breeder forums, and has been passed in email which states that the IABCA and specifically Jeff Bridegum and Brooke Bridegum have been issuing titles on rare breeds which are not UCI accepted. THIS IS FALSE. All titles issued on all rare breeds are valid. However, a complaint was made to the UCI, by a certain person, regarding the validity of International titles issued to certain rare breeds by the IABCA, as such the UCI has decided to “re-evaluate” the acceptance for UCI International title the Miki, Shiloh Shepherd and the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog. This DOES NOT affect the standing or titles issued to the Toy Australian Shepherd, Miniature Australian Shepherd or the American Pit Bull Terrier. This also does not affect titles issued or earned prior to August 2010, on any of the aforementioned breeds. In response to this decision, the IABCA is unable to award UCICB International Titles to the Miki, Shiloh Shepherd and the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, until a decision is reached by the governing board of the UCI. In the interim, the IABCA will issue International IABCA Beauty Titles to those breeds earning their V1 title points. At which time the UCI decides to accept the breed(s), the appropriate UCICB International title will be granted (should those breeds choose to request a UCI International title). If the UCI does not choose to accept a breed, the International IABCA Beauty Title will be accepted and recognized as identical to the UCICB International Title. Again, this only effects the MiKi, Shiloh Shepherd and Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, and does not effect the Toy Australian Shepherd, Miniature Australian Shepherd or the American Pit Bull Terrier. We apologize for the inconvenience that this might cause. We are diligently working to arrive at an acceptable resolution to this issue for the benefit of the breeds concerned. Who are you talking about with a vendetta? It looks like there are a whole lot of people that are upset with the way they have been led to believe their breed was an accepted breed. If the UCI says they do not accept certain breeds and they are not illegible to receive Int'l titles, how would the ones already issued be legal? That just does not make sense, even to a beginner. Is it ok for all the rare breeds to show in AKC events then and get titles, because one day they will be accepted? Taken directly from the UCI web-site. "We know that a breed called Mi-Ki exists in the USA, but we point out that the UCI disallows this breed. Because of that the UCI cannot award any international championships to that breed. This applies to all dogs which are disallowed by the UCI". Explain how titles issued on this breed or any rare breed before August 2010 are legitimate. How can you twist "UCI cannot award any international championships to that breed" into anything before Aug. is OK????? |
