Yep House and NCIS with Tony, Gibbs and the others...sort of getting into NCIS Los Angeles...the characters are starting to gel. Can't wait til the new series start!

I never really watched it until my Psych teacher this past year recommended we watch a certain episode, and since then I've been HOOKED. it's AMAZING and Hugh Laurie is one of my favorite actors.

I've loved Hugh Laurie since seeing him in Black Adder many, many years ago. I never miss an episode. I even have a T-shirt that says "It's NOT lupus" on it. :)

Yes, and when I did I thought he was in character or something...it is amazing that he does an American accent so well on the show.

I was just watching a clip from the Late Late Show. So hilarious. I love when he drops the accent for interviews. So talented.

He was a comedic actor before this role, and wow, I can't believe it's the same guy. Goofy was his middle name. I love the direction the story is taking this year, he's actually growing as a person.

Yep -- I like it too. I was relieved to see them get away from concentrating so much on his addiction and more on the story lines.

I love NCIS and the Mentalist! I think I have some weird crush on both Mark Harmon and Simon Baker! I also like Criminal Minds and some of the CSIs (although they are running short on story lines).

He's also been in a lot of period pieces. Loved him in Sense and Sensibility...even though his part was small.

You and I could watch tv together!! House, Criminal Minds and I too think CSI is losing ground. Don't even watch CSI Miami now. My crush is Thomas Gibson of Criminal Minds:rolleyes:

I am also a Friends fan, and I was re-watching all the episodes not too long ago and noticed that Hugh Laurie was the guy sitting next to Rachel on the plane when she was on her way to London to tell Ross not to marry Emily because she loved him (wow, quite the run-on sentence!) Anyway, he spoke with his English accent (they were on their way to London after all ;)) and I remember thinking it was amazing he sounds so American in House too!

He would watch it all day if he could and is always watching repeats.

Hey, I'm just curious, do any of you ever guess the diagnosis? I use to be able to do this with old TV doctor type shows, Marcus Welby, M.D. and my favorite Ben Casy, :p but I've never even been close on House. Ellie May, or Wylie's Mom have you?

I do like trying to guess the dx. I am not too successful with House's cases tho. I got couple that involved the thyroid and another that was pancreatitis as I am all too familiar with those. There was another that I thought sounded like an adrenal issue and it was. But usually I don't have a clue until they say it on the show.

I was watching it with my MIL and she has the pattern of the show down, for example, she understands which of their diagnosis's will be correct. I can't even do that! Sometimes, when House is talking to Dr. Wilson, he zones out, and then I know he thought of something, but usually I'm just clueless.

Nope. House knows more than me! :) I so want to meet Hugh. His addiction problem kinda makes the show interesting to me. I loved the season with Tritter!

AWESOME Show and I can watch repeats as long as they're spread out - it's one of the wittiest best written shows I've ever seen and he is such a toad you can't help but love and hate him at the same time - a GREAT Actor - and Wilson is sooooo hot :)

Haven't watched House in a long time. I think it was about the time they were changing the characters in the show. Think I need to start watching him again.

Did you know he is a talented musician too? He also was given the OBE by the Queen a few years ago.

One of the PBS stations had his other series on a while ago (Forty Something).
